the Us certainly spoiled our beloved Kath & Kim. To create another version of Kath and Kim, a much loved Aus classic gave big shoes to fill! The US certainly didnt fill them at all! The humour, and the whole idea of this version is all wrong, it is an insult to our show... i feel embarrassed for them.

This is SO bad. Why remake an hilarious show that is already in English? They have SO missed the point. The scripts were funny, but it was the vulgairity of the characters that made it work. Typical US, they go for good looking, fit actresses and try to make them likable.

this DIDN'T work in australia. we have our own BETTER version, but the reason you guys had to make your own version is because you guys wouldn't understand the humour in the aussie version. i don't know why they tried to put this version on aussie tv because it got cancelled after two episodes and started playing the original australian version of kath and kim. This reminds me of the last season of Aussie K&K, where you were basically just waiting for the next predictable one-liner and everything else was unfunny filler. The show was funny before moving to 7 because the characters were so over the top and constantly making fun of trashy Aussies. The show lost that in the end and it seems the US version doesn't have it at all.

Come on writers, poking fun at dumb America should be EASY!

I still don't quite understand how it changed as much as it did because it was still written and directed by all the same people as when it was on ABC
