People continue to mix things. Let get one thing straight:

The Polaris Outlaw's have KTM XC engine. It's a RFS engine made by KTM period! It ends here!

The KTM SX is a different beast, has a new and more powerful engine, nothing to do with Polaris Outlaw MXR's or whatever. A 450SX or 505SX eats Polaris quads for lauch lolol

In therms of performance yes but in the rest no. KTM has better quality overall, better brakes, it's lighter, better equipped all around...

@rc88rzrs Nope the 505sx is top dog in the ktm lineup.The sx has the dual overhead cam engine which revs much quicker and higher.Not to mention the SX makes more power at the wheels!

I acctuly dont like The 450sx to much i think the Polaris Predator 500cc and the outlaw 525cc is bether :P But the 450sx aint to bad :P

Interestingly enough I had the opportunity to test the new KTMs and the Polaris Outlaw counterparts back to back. The 450MXR is in the hunt this year for sure! Its the same motor package as the KTM but with Fox Podium X suspension all around (rather than the Ohlins stuff). It's quite a machine!

well i can tell you that the predator walks all over the straight axel KTM outlaws pretty badly

I love this quad,but would opt for the 525 due to no reverse on the sx. still a great quad. Just no reverse. I think all quads mx or not should have reverse. I like the mx quality and raciness. It's a lot easier to take reverse off.

Lot's of differences. Most important, the SX is for MX and XC is for cross country. The SX is wider (49.8"), has a recent engine DOHC, revs faster, more power. It has full adjustable WP suspension, nerfs etc
