i think it was written when she did all those collabs with her brother and she did a lot of 'darker' or 'heavier' music ~ i do think this song isn't as inspiring or as good as most of her others.
lol i am 20 but i just wonder how a song like that can be so succesful? i mean she says most of the time the devil is in me so i am asking you do you enjoy this song? and seriously she couldn,t find another lyrics?this song sucks and i,m not saying this only for the lyrics. i,m a bit disapointed of her since i like her music but i guess she had no inspiration at the time, cuz most of her songs are good! this song is for the suckers to listen no offence to anyone

Music is there to express oneself and doesn't need to have mundane factors play into the lyrics. Actually, if you've heard all her mini albums, the songs' meanings lean toward to the emotion in this song. It's about the darker side in us, and the tug of war we play with being an animal or "human"
