He didn't care that the dogs he rescued were sleeping on cement floors and weren't all that better off than what he rescued them from. He is disgusting. Ask him about his own dogs; he'll just make up a breed when you ask and pretend he knows them and that he actualy spends time with them.

I have a Pek-a-poo who I did not know when I adopte him came from a puppy mill. I have watched him suffer seizures since he was a pup. he is managed with phenobarb and another liquid KBr daily.

Some of these poor dogs often have debilitating health problems, like epilepsy, spinal problems, etc. If you are looking for a pet/dog, check your shelters and rescues. They often have poor breeds or close to being pure breds.

For all those people saying that puppy mills should be stopped -- put your money where your outrage is and donate (time or money) to all of the animal shelters that are taking in and rehabilitating these dogs. Most of these dogs don't know how to be a dog, don't know kindness. Just sit and read to them and you'll be helping these dogs heal.

What Wayne Pacelle doesn't want you to know is HSUS doesn't own, run, or fund a single shelter. They use the Humane name to collect your money. They use over 50% of the money they collect to simply pay for raising more money. They are not really interested in companion animals but know that pushes more buttons to help with fund raising.

Thank god for the spoodle, the pugalier and all the other 'new designer breeds' that make what would have been considered a mongrel cross-breed fashionable again so there's less demand for those 'pure' breeds with their authenticity papers. My dog is a shelter dog. He is a beagle mixed with something unknown but he is the most affectionate, beautiful, intelligent creature i know and the lady on the panel was right, a shelter dogs kisses are that much sweeter coz you both know you saved its life
