  • Its good to see a pilot and CO that not only flys his bird but knows the basics of how everything works. I work on these daily, I am one of those "Line rats" lol. Bird is washed 14days on land and every 7 at sea. Only difference is on our birds and this one is the BRU looks longer on this one. It extends past the fuel fill panel. Both are sh-60b's also. Thanks for uploading the vid.

  • How long does it take to become a Navy Helicopter Pilot?

  • Some poor line rats spent HOURS washing this bird.

  • Mr. Baze was an awesome Commanding Officer. He knows the bird well. ;)

  • I miss working in these birds. I took it for granted while I was in, but now finding myself missing it more and more.

  • Awesome guided tour round this uniqe Seahawk, I hope Denmark are buying this model.

Thanks to the pilote who were good to explain about the Seahawks, and thanks for uploading the movie!

    Thumbs up x 10!

  • It seems that Denmark very soon will buy a bunch of these good looking babes... - They will probably be used in the coming war against the evil and whale blubber loving Canadians trying to take over North West Passage, Northern Greenland(DK)

  • Some one that have the knowlegde can explain me this:

I want to be a Aircrewman Rescue Swimmer in the Navy.

I want to be in the Anti-Submarine unit

What is the right name for what i want?

  • Tell the recruiter you want to be a Naval Aircrewman. The name of the rate is Aviation Warfare Systems Operator or AW. Dont sign any contract until they assure you in writing that you will go to the training for this rate. The better you do in training increases the chances of getting the assignment you want.

  • Thanks for your help. Is ironic that that informacion will not be ejecuted by me in any future. I change my mind. USAF im on the wayy!!!!

  • The navy? I think thats what your asking.

  • @Captus15

Aviation Warfare Systems Operator (Aircrew) AW

  • the next thing you know is that the enemy is starting to make subs out of carbon fiber and plastic that are powered by slaves.

  • lmfao

  • @krazyfrenchpilot Lemme guess, Black people disappearing.

  • ANY GUYS UP?

hi anyone want to chat CV

  • Comment removed

  • When was the last time we where threatened by submarines? Yeah not for a while this is an anti-sub helicopter and it's getting phased out so it really doesn't matter. And who said America was easy to attack? So far it's only happened twice... Hmmmm

  • Yeah and each time it happened by sneaky little fucks.

  • dlol there not getting phased out

  • Actually they are getting phased out by the MH-60R's. I work at this squadron right now and we should be getting our MH-60R's next year. Pretty soon SH-60B's will be no more.

  • None of the info given by the Commander is secret or classified and can be obtained easily on the internet. I am sure the integrity the U.S. will not be compromised due to this video.

  • ya like palbert said...he didnt say anything classified. i fly in that exact helo and even if he told you something secret you would have no idea what he was talking about hahaha

  • if ur a pilot, what r the requirements to pilot a sh-60 because in the future im going to join navy and eventually (not sure) seals. i love to be in choppers! especially over the sea!

  • being a pilot and a navy seal are two different avenues.

a pilot is an officer, once you go officer it is hard to change to a seal.

if you want to go be a seal, do it from the beggining.

it sounds like you would be better off being an aircrewman.

they are in the helo when it flies and you can also be a rescue swimmer.

  • @sk8rcamboy1 1st, you have to be an officer. get a degree and go to OCS, or go to Naval Academy, or go to college while training in a NROTC unit and have the navy pay for it

  • @sk8rcamboy1 Well I am not a pilot but I know a lot . first, you need 4 yrs college and OCS. also, You better like being out at sea. if not, start to train y going out to sea in boat or dont bother. Its hard to fly a helo, expecially in the navy. requires lots of skill. If I were you, If ur between 10-17 yrs then look into naval sea cadet corps. trust me, you'll learn a lot.

  • @PSNgregiskool I agree i am currently in nscc

  • Really? What in here can't you find on the stuff Sikorsky posts on the web? All open source information.
