Liposuction Cannulas- Why thin canulas give the best results

I was wondering what information you could offer regarding a liposuction correction. I had lipo via cannula 13 years ago, I was 27. Just 3 years ago I had smart lipo and it was a poor result, uneven in places. I was 40. I am 43 and I understand that skin elasticity begins to wane as we hit the 40+. I also have seen promising results with stem cells in the cosmetic surgery area, but not specifically with lipo. What are your thoughts/suggestions. Thank you.
