I agree, most western women do need a healthy dose of morality, but that is not the government's business. Many scantily dressed women i know are not promiscuous and are often mistaken to be, while some well dressed women tend to be promiscuous behind closed doors. In the west, a muslim's true colors really show. There are certain types of freedom that people do deserve: such as speech, voting, owning property, and religion. This video should have focused on these positive things that come out of freedom. I think they were just trying to make the point that religious oppression does not create morality, it just hides it.

I agree, most western women do need a healthy dose of morality, but that is not the government's business. I am not saying women should not dress modestly, I'm saying that religion needs to stay out of government. Theocracy (or communism) may be well intentioned (ie:Catholic church in Europe) but ultimately it doesn't work.

If u eliminate the ego, the idea of shame is automatically eliminated. Because shame originates from the ego. @Antizionist4life And as far as Iranian women dressing with class is concerned, if you look at pictures of women in Iran from before 1979, they were wearing westernized clothing, and were showing ALOT more skin (just google it or look on youtube). It's only after the Islamic revolution that they started dressing according to Islamic standards. If this government was dismantled, then slowly they would go back to the way they used to be.

In ANY free society (be it Christian, be it Islamic, be it Hindu, be it atheist) certain types of debauchery (drugs, alcohol) are an unfortunate consequence, but that does not mean that freedom is not worth pursuing. In the west, a muslim's true colors really show. There are certain types of freedom that people do deserve: such as speech, voting, owning property, and religion. This video should have focused on these positive things that come out of freedom.
