Somehow, I find that offensive. To use "far more talented that Regina" I'm completely, I don't know I feel weird. Being a fan of Regina for years now and Shara for about a year two. I don't think it's appropriate to use "far more talented". Shara has amazing vocals, and l Regina has amazing lyrics. And I mean incredible lyrics, I can't even describe it. Sometimes people can't seem to understand....
@vegangirlx1 I mean, they're both completely different. You probably connect more with Regina, and I to Shara. I fully respect both artists, and agree about Regina and her lyrics for the most part. Shara doesn't write awe-inspiring or genius lyrics, but her voice haunts me in the most intriguing way, which is why I find her to be so talented. Don't take offense, I'm sure we just have different tastes.
Ha, I sorry. I just tend to get a little defensive sometimes. And I agree with you on Shara's voice. And It's not that I connect more to Regina, I was just trying to point that they were both talented in different ways. That's why I posted the comment, to acknowledge that Regina IS talented, just not in the same way as Shara. That's why I listen to both of them. :)
It's painfully obvious your musical pallete is incredibly limited. Nina Simone should be top of your list of influences, but I doubt you even know who she is.
I'm really impressed with her, too. She's an artist, but in the good sense of the word. She's interesting but she engages the heart while making fine music. Not many people can effectively do what she does in this performance.

Jedi Mind Tricks - Uncommon Valor. She does the chorus. I love artists that have respect and work with multiple genres.

I love this version. It's actually a glockenspiel that she's using. (Xylophones are made from wood.)

Her voice is similar to Naama Hilman's voice indeed

This has been flagged as spam show
such a trend these days, the "regina spector" routines.
One right after the other.
Take one pinch of, bjork, tori, kate, mix them together and voila!
these girls w, talent and lovely voices all doing the same thing.
The unusual is now imitated and no longer organic or unusual.

wow you're a moron
bjork, tori amoes, and shara sound nothing alike.
And if you can't tell the difference by now, stop trying and go away.

Wait, are you talking to the artist or a commenter?

Yes if only it were that simple. You know nothing about music or the skill it requires to do what she's doing.
