Other than the highly dangerous red dot trying to skull fuck you, thats an amazing little gun on full auto. If the whole 1986 thing went the way of the dodo I could see Kel-tech really cleaning up with a class 3 version of this. I'd like to see them drop a suppressor on this thing and run some subsonic just to see and hear what it would be like.

@job1181 they have made a carbine version, the RMR-30, and its threaded for a suppressor. im hoping they offer an aftermarket stock, like this one, able to hold the extra magazines, that can be swapped onto the carbine version in lue of the collapsing stock.

@Ki113r210 Yeah I've seen the RMR-30, it's a neat little gun. More range candy that something pratical, but that's the whole point of NFA weapons currently. You can't ever use them when they count so they might as well be fun and at least a few of them like the RMR, some what inexpensive to shoot. And to my knowledge they have yet to release a video of the RMR with a can and running subsonic. Just saying I'd like to see one for shits and giggles.

@CobraBrown It's just a mini-dot, and you're only ever gonna use something like this at extreme close range (i.e., room clearing)... and the sight picture is gonna be pretty much the same if you have your dot on target. Sure, the movement can be distracting, but if you train with it I'm sure you'd be fine. The movement would be so fast that it the frame of the mini-dot would be a blur, but if you're shooting right, the dot would remain (mostly) steady.

Most of what i've seen with this type of optics it's mounted on a rail coming off the frame....not on the slide. Call me old fashioned but I don't like red dots etc, tried them and I just prefer good ole iron sights.....plus this things rate of fire wouldn't it be more of a spray and pray anyways? lol

@CobraBrown Their not, but they are shooting higher powered cartridges like 38 supers, 40sw etc etc. Those hold zero thru thousands of rounds and Im sure this 22mag wont budge the RDS a bit. I had one on my old racegun and its held zero just fine. That gun has 60k+ rounds thru it and it has not come off. Its in 40sw btw.

@CobraBrown The principle applies the same way fire iron sights. People thought it was stupid to have a slide with iron sights attatched. But then they noticed there was no difference between a revolvers aim and a semi automatic pistol. So it applies to red dot optics to. it will look funny so a lot of people stray away from this. I wouldn't do this either. Trust me.

Depending on your state you can own anything you wish. Just have to pay for the tax stamp. Here in Florida ( as with other states in the union) we can have automatic weapons (of any variety and age), silencers, claymores and the list goes on and one. The Federal law allows each state to regulate firearms as they feel fit to. Referring to class 3 weapons. Not right to bear arms, that is another story.
