  • What an dummy, if he did get mauled, he would have deserved it! What kind of dummy goes berry pickin,in known bear country, with out at least a 44mag? I'll tell you who.....DEAD ONES!! As 4 not running, he didn't necessarily need to outrun the bear,(yeah right) he just needed to be faster than his stupid wife (or whoever was filming his dumb ass). I am all for amnimal rights, but when one is comming at me with bad intentions, well, lets' just say... bear stroganoff anyone?

  • It's a good thing he didn't run. The bear was testing him to see if the guy would get scared if he ran towards him and he didn't fall for the bears tricks! Smart man!

  • Here, a bluff charge involves "bouncing" but I wouldn't rely on it.

This bear is trying to "run you out" of his berry patch!

I don't know about Europe, but here in Montana the bears must have the sugar from the berries to help them hibernate. Here, a bear will guard his berry patch, waiting for the berries to ripen.

  • Bears, moose, bison, all make the ground pound motion in these bluff charges, it is the clearest warning of imminent danger...That guy was lucky...

  • he did exactly what he should have done in that situation...i don't know if his own ignorance put him in that position, but he handled it perfectly. If he would have turned his back and ran, we would be watching a man die.

    re-watch this video carefully

  • I wonder if that fellow understood how close he came to dying? If he'd made a bad move, like running, he'd have been bear food.

  • Bravo Finci

  • i used to barehanded wrestle bears in the wild whenever i met them... but then i took an arrow to the knee

  • THIS IS EUROPEAN BROWN BEAR.SMALLER THAN GRIZZLY AND I THINK BIGGER THAN BLACK BEAR.THIS BEAR WASN'T PLAYING! THOSE ARE BLUFF CHARGES. THE ONLY THING THAT SAVED THIS MANS LIFE WAS THAT HE WASN'T RUNNING AWAY.NICE VIDEO

  • Its called balls of TITANIUM !!!

No gun in hand and standing your ground ....yep balls of steel.

  • The only reason the bear didint attack was cause of the sound of the mans balls of steel clinking together in his pants... Daaayuummn...

  • In the description you said you didn't know if the bear was real. That bear looks pretty fucking real to me dude. I'm pretty sure it's not a robot bear.

  • Ok bear you win I will never step foot in a forest again.

  • balls in the right place.

  • Look at 00:10 , there s cub in the tree!

This momma was defending her offspring, that guy is lucky to be alive

  • @warfwar91 I saw it, you're right this was a momma. I was watching some great videos on bears from animal planet and one momma fucked this other bear up. She had 3 babies and they were eating and another bear came to take some food twice and she let him know no fucking way. Back off.

  • @warfwar91 If there was a cub in the tree she would have tore that guy apart even if he wasn't remotely close to it.

  • @deadstarlll

yes, because everything that happens in the world is always predictable and follows our expectation, right?

  • @warfwar91 good eye, that explains a lot, but knowing that, i'm surprised she didn't actually attack

  • @HvinnyTheViking The general rule is this: With a Black bear, you stand your ground and make as much noise as you can. With a Brown bear, you make as much distance between it and yourself as possible. With cubs, the bear will most likely turn back so as not to be too far from them. At night, the rules change for ALL bears. If they are out, it means that they are starving and YOU are their last hope for food. Then, it is your life you are fighting for. USE any method you have to survive.

  • @warfwar91 yea there was a cub and she was defending it.. He did the right thing though. It takes some guts not to run from the bear.

  • @Angelov86

True, or maybe he was paralyzed with fear. Either way, I would not want to be in that situation

  • The old man knew how to deal with bears, after this he should slowly walk backwards not leaving the bear at any times.

  • I think the only reason why he didn't ran away is because his huge balls were acting as anchors.

  • I don't get it. Why would the bear "bluff" charge when it could just have easily "real" charged?

  • @blx444 How about this: The bear's instinct tells him that the man could be dangerous, he could have a weapon and kill him? That is why even a bear is afraid sometimes.

  • It's real, you can see in the video at 0:10 that she has a cub in the tree, she is making very aggressive bluff charges to back off the threat to her cub. If the guy doesn't back off while maintaining eye contact, the bear would attack.

  • @halllee1000 Firearms arent allowed in Sweden.

  • @Algonquin81 Eh? Sweden has the 10th highest gun ownership rate in the world(licensed that is, obviously) What do you think we hunt with, crossbows and spears?

  • STUPID! Bears ain't human, they're meat eater!!!

  • So bears don't always run after people and tear them apart? They sometimes just give them a warning and shit?

  • @JustBallax yes bears will do bluff charges to see if whatever is intruding them is a threat. the best thing to do is to back off SLOWLY otherwise the bear will think the running away as a sign to attack

  • that looks like a cub in a tree at .18

    this is a grizzly

    not a good situation.

  • @salmojack Its a Brown Bear. This is from Sweden, and there are no Grizzlies there.

  • @halllee1000 never go into the woods here in Alaska where I live without knowing wtf your doing. I go hiking for miles and miles in the middle of nowhere but my knife. You have to use your ears. Shooting big game is bullshit anyway man

  • think I would have crapped myself

  • how can that man walk upright?? his balls would be huge and i bet their heavy too

  • bears are unpredictiable and all research shows conflicting effects....It was always thought bears will not attack groups or continue a attack on a group of humans but that recently was shot down in the news where a goup of students were attacked one after the other.

  • I don't know if anybody else saw that there were actually two bears there when the camera first started to film them .One was standing and the other was on all fours in front of the one standing.

  • @MrKirk379 I think they were a sow with her cub (the latter was climbing a tree) and the situation was actually very dangerous. Maybe she was in two minds: attacking the two intruders on one hand, risking her life against two unknown creatures on the other.

  • I think if the man had not stood his ground and turned and run he would have been bear food. The young bear was testing the mans nerve .

  • I didn't see any cubs- but the chargin bear looks like a subadult. I wonder why, if it is that upset, the bear doesn't just retreat from the scene. Was it protecting something? It looked like it didn't know what the heck it wanted to do, and to be honest- it does appear reminiscent of a dog play charging. I don't think the person in this situation should really turn and retreat, maybe just back off quickly and quietly.

  • If a bear does this, she wants you to chase her... and she wants to show off her cubs so you can pet them.

PS - I love natural selection, it's the only way to human evolution.

  • Excuse me sir, but I'm afraid we don't carry

Boxer briefs in your testicle's size..

  • man:*hey, hey how you doing, how you doing*

Bear: *fine thanks, im just checking out if you have any gun, so i could eat your face off*

  • General stages of a bear attack . You happen upon a bear ,

Bear stands on hind legs : ' What are you doing here ? '

Bear Bluff Charges : ' Get out now or I will carry you out by your backpack . '

    Bear Swing Head Back And Forth And ' Woofs ' : ' Should I attack him ? Should I ? '

Bear Attacks . Although , rangers do inform you that standing on hind legs is not aggressive , it is still a sign to get the heck out quick before he / she becomes aggrivated .

  • Hear*

  • I can translate what they say:

"In berrypicking is a meeting with big predators extremly uncommon, but if we move quiet, the animals won't be warned, and a bear that's suprised can ofcorse be iritated".

The man: "yes, no, good bye, good bye, hello hey, take it easy now, yes, no.

Women: "This time it turned out well and in the most others also, but you can never (>I don't here what she's saying<)

  • False charge, which in bear speak means, "Time to leave. This is how fast I can destroy you."

  • the bear is bluff charging. that means its time for you to leave and go back to camp. be bear aware.

  • If the bear wanted him it would of got him.

  • bear: ahh its that shitty old man again! he picks all my berries and doesn't even flinch when i charge him! >:|

  • my cat runs around like that when he wants to play which is awesome but i'm pretty sure if i was small enough he'd eat me.

  • and if you look at the video at 0:10 you can see a cub in the background. at 0:12 you see the mother's head quickly jerk towards the direction of the man. he obviously caught her off guard!

  • you stupid dope heads! That is not a playful bear! Those are bluff charges! It s a clear message that the bear does not want you there! That is when you slowly start waking back away from the bear! There is no such thing as a playful bear when they come across something it is not familiar with. THis bear was clearly trying to figure out whether or not this guy was a real threat! not a situation to be taken lightly at all!

  • @TheNatedmorin Indeed, if it stands still it gets respect if it runs it is a prey. That's the mentality of predators.

  • @TheNatedmorin

Bluff charging... and, you would say, meaning "get out from my berries, they are mine"... Better stay calm, keep your ground and then back out slowly - that is what is always advised.

  • @TheNatedmorin And it's always the animals fault when humans intrude. I agree with you, no wild animal will 'play' with intruders.

  • @TheNatedmorin you are wrong its just that isnt a grizzly bear next time let it be a wild grizzly I bet you any money that man wont stand there

  • It isnt that serious, bears play all the time and if they charge it may be a playfull toying, no biggie

  • im thinking i just went from.40 to .454

  • wat do the tags gotta do with this video

  • In Soviet Russia, we have bear ten times size!

  • I think the best bear gun for me would be a samurai sword. Slice that fucker in half if he comes near me.

  • That guy behaved as though this is commonplace for him.

  • lol?why is this vid on Sweden?

  • all of those are false charges because the bear's ears r up. if they were down, the bear would run right through him with no hesitation.

  • Definitely real...bluff charges are very common with bears. VERY impressed at how calm the guy remained...

  • Swedish Balls!

  • btw, what she was saying at the start: when picking berries, everything is fine, but sometimes when you dont make a sound, bears can be easily startled.

Then when the bears charging the guys i just like: hey, no, dont worry, yeah hey boy!

then the speaker says: oh well, this time everything went well...

    lol

  • Its for real.

  • thats a playful bear! he just looking for a friend

  • @aperfectcuremt

    Playful!? Are you nuts!?

That is a serious threat display, and depending on how you react to it could save your life. React the wrong way and that bear will seriously maul you, possibly kill your ass!

  • gangster bluff charge

  • This is surely a bluff charge

  • bluff charge

  • That guy must be Russian! In Russia man charge beers! Either way I can still smell his shit from here!

  • @Beefer413 He is swedish, from northern sweden judging from the accent

  • Damn this dude got some balls.

  • Rule number 1:

    Never run.

Bears are faster all the time.

    Stand your ground.

  • Use a gun on a grizzly: 50% chance it turns out good for the human.

Bear spray: 90-95% chance it turns out good. The kill zones are very small, and if you wing a grizzly, he won't like it very much... So, with bear spray, the griz doesn't have to die or get wounded, and maybe you don't have to die, either.

  • my dog runs around like that when he's excited when someone comes to visit.

  • Wow that's insane. Personally i wouldnt feel comfortable standing there "as you're supossed to do" without an AA12 in my hands. But i do respect this mans courage and experience.

  • U suck gang

    f*^%}€~~%,~#%%+*#}?,€ u u ass

  • WTF is with Chuck Norris

just go up to the rizzlybear and say THIS IS MY YARD!!! the kick the bear treating it like your bitch

  • @Surebro0 Have fun with that......

  • lol swedish bear. luckely he didnt ran

  • OHH..MY..GOD

  • sounds like he is saying how are u doing? lol

  • @4inches4u Haha, what he said is loosely translated to 'Yeah you should' when the bear runs away and 'No you shouldn't' when it's charging... the woman is just talking about the dangers of picking berries :P

  • This is absolutely a real video. This man is a person who has experienced many bear encounters, he might be familiar with the bear but that by no means is a fake

  • i bet this guy only drinks dos x.

  • Chuck Norris's aprentice!

  • This guys got BALLS! The bears going to eat them but he's got balls!!! He won't have them long but he's got balls

  • haha the bear looks like an happy dog running around XD

  • you tree lovers are retarded if the great outdoors is the bears home where does it end at the edge of town we have just as much right to be out in the woods as a bear so if it attacks us we kill it just like if the bear gets attacked it kills what ever is attacking it

  • Bears aren't usually a big deal, as even most charges (while intense) are bluffs. If you see a bear *cub*...well, you'd better unass the area pronto or be prepared to call in artillery.

  • Comment removed

  • GET TO THE CHOPPA

  • Considering this bear in the video is a female with cub (seen in the beginning of the video, sliding down a tree) it is actually way more dangerous than if it were just a lonely bear. This bear wants to protect her cub against any threat. Lucky and very cool man!

  • 99% of the time its a bluff... unless you end up between a sow and cubs. then 99% of the time you die...lol

  • What a gutsy guy! He can post my trail lead anytime . . .

  • territorial stance is more like it. Bears don't like intruders especilly if they think that someone or something is trying to move in on a meal or a mate. I don't think this guy is all that cool, He yelled to try and get it to change but it was the bears decision not to finalize the charge. The bear would be dead if it was me. Don't go into bear territory unarmed I don't care what the park rangers say.

  • @truthtone58

I dont think we have nearly as much bears as you guys do. (i am assuming you are american) And in sweden you dont get a gun-licens just for self defence against bears. I've never heard of anyone carrying a rifle unless they are hunting.

  • @truthtone58 So you would kill a bear because you were intruding in it's home. Oh yeah, that's cool. Maybe I should go to YOUR house with a gun and kill you for looking at me while I'm intruding in your home.

  • @Brutaka921 so you never walk in the woods, you're killing ants and polywogs everytime you take a step. I don't kill anything unless I'm going to eat it or it's going to eat me. It's a very simple solution, it's called self defense and I have every right to it.

  • @truthtone58 Yes, I do understand self defense. But I really wouldn't kill it unless you know it's going to kill you.

  • @Brutaka921 And besides all this, the most important thing that I forgot is that this bear would be killed anyway by the authorities, they would track it down and kill it.

  • @Brutaka921 your house that you live in right now used to be home to an animal

  • Bluff charge = one ruined pair of pants.

  • The bear was bluffing from the start, you can tell by the ears, if it's a real charge the ears will be back. Bluff charge = ears up

  • @guidomith god I hope thats true, Im adding it to my survival instinct lol

  • @guidomith thanks buddy, next time I get about 5 feet from a charging bear I'll look for that.

  • Hi how you doing? The bear stops and says " oh your not scared? the man replies " no.." the bear says oh well i'm good thank and you?" hahahah

  • that guy has got balls the size of that bears...
