  • eu, Villeneuves died at Zolder, not Imola...

  • is there blood at 0:39 ?

  • @davidtheone92 Most of it are remaining parts of the car, however there might be some on the driver's cockpit. Unsure. Still shocking.

  • @imambro001 Its blood probably because senna's death caused by the medal wheel track rod hitting into his skull thru the helmet.

So he could have been survived without that unlucky thing in that crash.

  • @HeZu1987 There are also versions that it was a Transmision, or suspension part that hit him, on the chest though. However i have not really done the research. But thanks for the data. Take care.

  • @imambro001 a suspension strut hit him in the head, it did not puncture his head or his helmet.

  • did berger die the same place as villeneuve did?

  • @replyzy Nope! Ratzenberger died at The Autodromo Dino Ferrari Circuit in Imola,Italy. The same place where Ayrton Senna died just a day after Rolland died. Villenueve died at the Zolder Circuit in Heusden-Zolder,Belgium. You must have misread the "Villenueve corner" as Gilles Villeneuve.:) Rat was 33,Ayrton was34 and Villenuve was 32 year old only.:(

  • @chocolateaddict37 can u make the words simpler?i dunt get it sorry

  • Ban IMOLA forever. It might be cursed !!!! R.I.P 3 of you

  • Whats with the creepy music it's not like you watch this video the gost of them three are going to kill you is it.

  • @tommo912 Blame AudioSwap.

  • senna, villeneuve Colin McRae they are my hero forever.

They live my dream And inspired my life .

because of them I know the live is awesome

  • senna what a driver spectactular. He is a inspiration to others in the way he was. such a loss.

  • rip greatest f1 drivers

  • not a very good presentation

  • and Ayrton was so distraught at the news of ratzenbergers death only to die the next day

  • Ratzenberger died in qualifying April 30 1994, Senna in the race the day after May 1st 1994 - Hope this helps

  • Guys 1:12 was razenberger not Senna. There is photos of Senna when he crashed but those photos will never be realesed. And his head injuries is worse then you think. Not nice.

  • Wasn't Ratzenbarger dead inside his car, or was he on life support, i thot he died instantly

  • @ruhroh999 technically he did die instantly, but because he was put on a machine, he wasnt pronounced dead until he was outside the confines of the track. So because he didnt die within the grounds of the track, the race event wasn't cancelled (as it would have been if he was pronounced dead at the track). people used this to blame sennas death the next day (because the race hadnt been cancelled). i'm sure its something like that.

  • @MartinObviously You can see in the footage that Ratzenberger had his neck broken in the crash. His head swerve almost like a piece of paper. A broken neck like that means death.

  • @escrete20000 No, because if that was true, then race regulations at the time would have meant that the race the next day would have been cancelled. the impact made him brain dead, he was still "alive" and was put onto life support until he was outside the confines of the track.

  • @escrete20000 Nope Roland hadn't broken neck. Just hit the head to the edge of cockpit

  • @RedhotIta1 He died because of many heavy injures he got from that heavy impact. I heard that he hit the wall with his head and his helm was smashed and he had one of the highest g-forces ever in a crash. Don't know if its true.

  • @Saki2407 this is sure, was 320km/h and the impact was direcly at wall near to 90 degrees, the speed gone from 320km/h to 50-90km/h i think... I saw on SENNA film

  • @Saki2407 his head never struck the wall, his left front tire came back and struck him in the head as he was going forward in the cockpit, with that being said, the whiplash effect was so severe that he was "internally decapitated" meaning that the skin and soft tissue in the neck remanined intact however his spinal cord and well every bone in his neck was severed from the skull. he never had a chance to walk away from that one

  • Imola: one of the more fatal crash ever...

  • 1 : 12 Is this blood ?

  • caralho q video fudido, n chega nem aos pes desses pilotos e do q eles merecem?

  • what's with the terminator 2 music?

  • coulda been a better vid with more respect 4 the gr8 drivers they were

  • not the best

  • this wasn't worth uploading and i think it disrespects their memory.

  • @noreplyism

    I reckon ure rite

  • This is a disgrace, absolute shit.

  • sena oh inesquesivel saudades

  • i watched this F1 weekend at 1994...been a fan since 1992..so it was sad...my uncle and i watchin...he jus said ratzenberger (live viewin) he is dead...and then the sad day....senna...thats so bad....he was lookin at the Crashsite from Ratzenberger...looked scared...i think he couldnt prevent his Karma..maybe he felt somethin

  • ratzenberger looked the worst b y far (heaviest impact) but villenauve looked most painful

  • he ended up on the other side of the track, course it was more painful

  • You spelled it wrong twice in the vid. it's RatzeNberger, not RatzeMberger.

  • I WAS BORN ON THE DAY SENNA DIED :(

  • that sucks dude.

  • i neva got to see him or mansell race well i did masell but i didnt understand racing and who they were properly. he died about 3/4hours after i was born.

  • Was it 2nd May or wasnt it? I can see why they put a chicane where Senna crashed. And I thought the chicane was quick. Ratzenberger was probably the worst. That corner is deadly, caught out many drivers over the years., right the way up to 2006 with Yuji Ide and Christjan Albers

  • naa May 1st (i think he died - Not sure if crash was april 31st)

  • meu amigo meu vizinho que deus tenha saudades

  • ? ingles?

  • at least they died doin what they loved R.I.P

  • 何この下手糞過ぎる編集は

  • One would think that having ones skull transfixed with a suspension arm at nearly 180mph would cause instant death. I remember watching poor Rolands head lolling over after the car stopped. Absolute horror show at Imola.

I couldn't bear to watch any F1 for quite a while after Imola that year.....what was the point? Another F1 bloodbath.

F1 has historically been a bloodsport, to say this person or that is responsible is stupid. In the end it rests on the driver, he chooses to take the wheel!

  • Senna died 1 day AFTER Ratzenberger death!

  • this is a shit video but rip to the drivers btw it is ratzeNberger

  • ya it`s allright but, R.I.P.

  • RIP ayrton senna. basterd samerino cuircuit

  • no Ratzenberger died April 30 1994 and Senna died the day after, Both didnt live long after their crashes, dying the same day, and if ratzenberger died from a Practice or Qualifying Crash and Senna died from a race crash how could senna have died before Ratzenberger?

    RIP Ayrton Senna

    RIP Gilles Villeneuve

    RIP Roland Ratzenberger

I apologize for my horrid spelling

  • 1 day before sennas death, ratzenberger died.

  • people really need to learn to read properly

  • @imambro001

Acctually senna died 2 dys after... the dy after ratzemberger was barrichello who almost died

  • @WisPT; I believe you're Wrong. If not so, would be nice of you to proove it.

    Thanks for giving your opinion.

  • @imambro001

nevermind you right barrichello rash firstthen next day was reyezemberger and then senna sorry

  • @WisPT Wrong. Barrachello crashed on Fri, Ratzenburger died on Sat and Senna on Sunday...go do your research asswipe.

  • @WisPT: Reverse:

    Barrichello: Friday (Practice)

    Ratzenberger: Saturday (Quali)

    Senna: Sunday (Lap 7)

  • @WisPT Senna was clinically dead at the scene but was kept alive on a life support machine for 5 days, cos that is Italian law... But what a massive loss...the best driver to ever get behind the wheel of an F1 car.. RIP..

  • Senna was technically killed instantly.

  • @cloverleaf74

senna died 2 days after, the day after barrichello almost died b

  • senna no dead

  • He live in the heart of his fan!

  • stupid track that is, im glad they modified it before anymore deaths occur at imola!

  • I think they shouldve just moved tambourelli back about 100-200 meters and theyd have been good there, no need for a chicane there, but the chicanes in Villneaue and on the Backstraight were good, they needed to fix that last turn more then they did though.

  • RIP Ratzenberger

  • Tragic loses... one of the darkest days in motorsport. RIP.

  • Speed kills

  • rather the very sudden stop that kills

  • yes but you can't have a that sudden and violent stop if you drive slowly

  • [*][*]

  • 1:12 OUUUU

  • don't forget the track in Montreal honours Gilles Villenuvue his son race there many times.

  • hey...do u mean ayrton senna and roland ratzemberger both fatal crash at imola???wow...Imola is the most dangerous place now...

  • yes, that happened. Senna crashed 1 day after Ratzenberger.

  • yeah, the track must have been pretty dire that weekend. Barichello crashed out pretty bad, and Ratzenberger and Senna were both killed. I reckon if they don't sort out Montreal soon, that track could cause some nasty accidents given its condition

  • Senna actually died one day after Ratzenberger.... Ratz died during qualifying, Senna during the race.

Interestingly enough, after seeing Ratzenberger's death, Senna, Schumacher, and Berger formed the Grand Prix Driver's Association with the goal of improving safety in the sport. The Association's creator would die later that same day.

  • well it was in 1994. There haven't really been any huge crashes there since

  • that's because they have modified the track. In the corner where Senna crashed (Tamburello) and the corner where Ratzenberger crashed (Villeneuve corner) a chicane was placed after this race. Furthermore, two other places at the track, for example the chicane where Barrichello crashed heavily in that same weekend, was modified too... I think thats why there haven't been any huge crashes ever since. Look at crashes from Berger and Patrese in the Tamburello corner, that corner was too dangerous...

  • SENNA WAS ASSASSINATED

  • -..-'

  • @ philokiko,

I'm sorry to say I agree with you - I've researched his accident for years and nothing changes my mind.

Still doesn't answer the big question though - who killed him?

  • The cause of Senna's wreck was low tire pressure. The race was started with a safety (pace) car and the did not get to temp when the race went to full speed. The car bottomed out and the rear stepped out. Senna corrected the skid, bit at the speed he was going ran out of road and room. This is per a National Geographic program that looked in to this.

  • hey

    cool vid

    i never missed a f1 race since 1999

so im a really big fan too
