  • @3:25 he didn't kill the depressed

  • We should have the power to make our own decisions. The government and the lady at the end should not have to power to make our decisions for us. Its not her place to tell people what they can and cannot do, regardless of whatever it is.

  • Fuck! I hate that bitch at the end.

She says that if the community offered the resources suicidal wannabes needed, everything would be flowery rose gardens.

The reason why people are left alone to commit suicide is that either, nobody knows how to help the poor soul, or no one really wants to help him\her in the first place, for fear of being labeled suicidal weirdos themselves.

Bottom line is, in this beauty and money world, when a poor soul decides to end his suffering, who are we to say no?

  • I value life, that's number 1, so I'm against anykind of muder/killing. I understand that some people may feel hopeless and may think that there's no way out but killing yourself only going to make it worst. Suicide is one issue but helping someone kill themselves is incredible (not in a good way) I mean, if someone asked me to help them kill themselves I wouldn't participate, instead I will take that as a cry for help and try to give them guidance and reference, am i wrong for that?

  • Anyone that is against a terminally ill person choosing to end their suffering is, more often than not: a narcissist, religious, healthy enough where life's worth living, and usually in the end a hypocrite. Hypocrite b/c when it's them that's suffering they change their tune all of a sudden and now it's ok. There are some exceptions but not many imo.

  • What a dumb bitch

  • i think the world isn t prepared for this kind of death

  • that is so true i i agree '' at some point the quality of life no longer merits life at all''

3:14 this bitch should should up there are some diseases that DOCTORS CANNOT ALIVIATE I AM VERY AGAINST THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT TELLING ME WHAT TO DO WITH MY LIFE. I AM PRO I-1000

  • @MrDewy67 if it was more humane and consentual then yes

  • assisted suicide is only for those who are in pain where pain manegment is not enough they still feel pain its not for those who are depressed that lady had absolutly no idea what to say

  • That chick at the end if a fucking cunt. Who are she to tell what other people do with their lives. Rideculous

  • Here in the United States we've found that the best cure for the terminally ill who attempt suicide is a few years in a Federal Penitentiary. This works wonders, they realize how precious life is without their freedom. In their second or third year of incarceration, they suddenly want to live again.

  • Unfortunately the movement against eutanasi seem to do what they can to make their own ("universal") definition of humanity and dignity. So to bring up "menthal issues" to this topic is NOT the intention with eutanasi. What then with abortion... The same "argument" can be stated in this matter!

  • I almost fell over when the woman used the words "Pro-Death Movement" to characterize those of us who support Death with Dignity (aka Free will). This tactic has long been associated with people who use fear to market their arguments (See Sarah Palin: "Death Panels").

I can't help but grimace when educated people make the mistake of believing that religiously charged slander will win Jesus' heart. Christ preached respect, love, justice, compassion and dignity. Remember?

  • "Eliminating people that are less than perfect."

    What a cunt.

  • It is not about whether someone else is deciding that you should live or die it is about the ability to make the choice that if you are dying from a terminal disease and due to that disease you can either no longer live your life in way that you are no longer in pain and can enjoy your life that you should be able to make the decision to end a hopeless existence and not have go through the pain and suffering of dying through this disease if you can have the option to not have to.

  • If someone chooses to die, ESPECIALLY when they know they will die in the near future and must suffer terminally and horribly before they are at peace, it is NO ONE'S business. If they voluntarily decided to die and needed Dr. K's help doing it, it is NO ONE'S business but the person's who wanted to die.

  • I dont think the oppisition to Dr Kevorkian can understand suffering never mind an uncurable suffering. This woman has obviously never been face to face with someone who has asked to die to stop the pain. Her argument is nonsense compared to Youk's brother. Our world is one where those with a close mind and the nonunderstanding should not argue a point. It is selfish to tell another living being that they do not have the right to seek the only logical answer to the stopping of the pain.

  • The girl in this video for the pro life movement is an idiot

  • i would have loved to have seen that girl get conversationally eviscerated by kevorkian.

  • This world faces the threat of overpopulation as is. If somebody feels they are no longer of use to society or to their family/friends or even themselves, they are doing everyone a favor by opting for a peaceful death. If you have a right to live, you have a right to die. I personally dont think I'd ever choose it unless I were on life support, but I fully support what Jack felt.

  • It is my hope that she never ends up with a terminal illness that causes her to use every muscle possible just to take a gasp continuously until death. Lou Gehrig's disease progresses to the point of terrifying feelings like a fish out of water.

  • stupid girl.. you're being paid to speak.

If the person wants to die, they want to die. End of story.

    It's NOT your story.

  • this darling girl seems to be too young to understand that when you've been suffering from debilitating pain for a number of years, that is due to a terminal illness, you don't want to "seek help". you just want to go. you've had it.

  • Of course, a pretty blonde, daddy's money type is telling us what is wrong... *rolls eyes*

  • Euthanasia is NOT murder ... it is merely a method of allowing a person to die. Rather than letting coma patients starve to death once it is decided that the patient is terminally ill, euthanasia lets them pass without suffering and at their own time.

  • if this is a free country ANYONE should have the right 2 choose what they have done, death, abortion, or being gay.....this isnt murder if the people ASKED for this, no one held the needle and injected it themselves, they asked for his help and he gave it 2 them...RIP

  • @dcsmokedown91 i agree with you on this, but being gay isnt a choice... just so know.

  • @LordDestrus lol idk bout that one, before being gay was ok there wasnt many ppl, but now everyone and their uncle can be cause its alright now, or if they went through a really bad breakup but then thats called 'not gettin over it'....but 2 each his own

  • r.i.p. jack kervorkian...

  • Dorothy Yang, you're a fucking cunt who deserves rape. You AIDS piece of whore.

  • god dangit why does dorothy have to be hot, i dont like what she is saying..

  • I'm surprised he didn't asked to be killed by euthanasia bahaha

  • RIP

  • Why are they asking a 20 year old in apparently good health to discuss this point in a negative manner???? How dare she!?!

  • Jack Kevorkian is dead now... RIP.

  • This Dorothy Yeung is truly repulsive. Here she is, in the prime of her life, in the comfort of her own good health, making it her life's priority to ensure that people tragically stricken with horrific diseases are DENIED the option of ending their suffering in a painless, dignified manner. Just repulsive. If life were to switch things around, shatter her world tomorrow with a brutal diagnosis of Thomas Youk's ALS, I seriously doubt she would be so militant in her fight against his wishes.

  • Why did the woman opposing assisted suicide keep saying "people suffering from depression"? What about people w/ terminal cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, etc.? Not that depression are any less important or it's any less debilitating for some but to make a point of it INSTEAD of more serious illnesses was just ridiculous & she was obv. ignorant to what she was TRYING to make a point of. What a BS news clip that was. PS-I'm PRO assisted suicide. My death is MY OWN business. PERIOD. Cheers. :)

  • If they didn't want to die, then why did they even show up to him in the first place? Freedom to live should be just as equivalent as freedom to die.

  • Thats why i have agreement with my twin, that if i am in anyway permanently mentaly impaired that he is to kill me. Gun to the face. Yeah, i specified the weapon.

At some point in time the quality of life no longer merits life at all.

  • @OnlyTheWeakNeedHelp yeah but think about the pain and agony thats putting your twin in. Life isnt trivial and im not downing Kevorkian, im saying that your probably going to kill your twin too if they arent prepard for that...

  • @LordDestrus

i think it should be their decision wether or not they dye and if someone helps them do it, im ok with it. I will never convict someone of a mercy killing if they truly did it to spare someone pain and its consensual

  • A smart and caring man? Are you completely out of your mind? When 70% of the people he supposedly "helped" were NOT terminally ill, but rather fit the profile of a suicide attempter;most of which being women, can you HONESTLY say that is helping people? He often moved quickly from first meeting to the quick injection to resolve the problem. He hardly IFEVER sought secondary opinions on cases. I am all for having the right to choose, but you can't deny that he MANIPULATED many to fit his ownagenda

  • @skifreakbob Who told you that fairy tale?

  • @skifreakbob Proof?

  • It's not your fucking decision, bitch. If somebody wants to end their life but can't very well put a gun to their head, i think its okay to have somebody do it for them. Alot of Kavorkian's patients had horribly debilitating diseases like ALS, and couldn't even move their bodies, I can only imagine how horribly depressing it must be.

  • Ever Heard of the 9TH amendment?

  • Wow dumb girl. Just pump the people suffering with drugs till they have no feelings, no emotions left.

  • Im a bigot? At least im not pushing my opinion on children, im not afraid of my views being challenged by others i like to discus them and think about other people points of view. I know i dont have to be right, thats why i use my brain and confront others for their ideas..... ever tried any of that? Oh off course not... I forgot that you have your Dogmas, and that you dont have to think about them the Pope did that for you.

  • @loskamykos I agree with you!! That's one of my biggest problems with religion is that it is pushed upon people, especially children, at a young age. In turn, people then believe what members of the church have told them, and they do not think for themselves and take the religious aspect out of issues. I'm with you with this one.

  • Yeung is a dumbass. I don't recall Kevorkian wanting to euthanise people with depression and handicaps?????? Let her see one of her termanily ill loved ones day after day begging for relief from there hopeless suffering. But what do I know? Aparently she knows whats best for people. Arrogant huh?

  • Yeung stands as a perfect example of the 'Right to Life' group; her arguments are nothing but a string of straw man fallacies and ad hominems. Who argued in favour of euthanising those such as the depressed, who're not in a fit mind to make such serious calls about their medical care? Who argued in favour of euthanising the disabled? The obstinacy and untenability of the NRLC is forever a thorn in the side of medical ethics.

  • KEVORKIAN ONLY KILLED PEOPLE WHO WERE ALREADY GOING TO DIE. HE JUST REMOVED THEIR SUFFERING!!!

  • Free will? No, we don't have free will anymore... if you can't even choose what you want for yourself, than we have lost all free will.

  • that chick is a B****!

  • I don't understand that you can euthanasia a dog when he is suffering but if you are Human then you are to suffer till you die of natural causes. It should be my decision how and when I want to die. This idiot keeps talking about depressed people. He didn't help people die that were depressed and she makes herself and the people that she is working for look stupid because she isn't informed.

  • People like this lady in the second half of the video, are the type of people who should be left to rot away with cancer, or lou gehrigs disease, etc. They should get what they advocate without any mercy, while every healthy advocate against assisted-suicide should be forced to watch them slowly, miserably wither away.

  • @DeluxeGoldTop Indeed! And also, I notice she calls people for assisted suicide "Pro Death," which is a little thing but it offends me. I mean, we aren't for people dying, we're just for people's right to die.

  • @IndianaJoker its like people calling people who are pro-choice about abortion pro-death...its rude and derogatory...

  • A right to life is a right to death. Pro-life imbaciles thinking that a man made book should be the basis of Human happiness. Single mindedness and a disregard for variation, reminds me of a little incident that happened in Germany in the 1900s.

  • That girl is so dumb.

  • @kingdom100 really really dumb... fo real

  • Who is this bitch talking in the second half of the video...Has she ever had a terminally ill family member with unbearable pain? God damn Yuppy...u'll be calling out to Jack Kevorkian when your pretty face is falling off.

  • what a ridiculous argument. kevorkian is right and it is that fking simple. for someone to actually argue against another human being's wishes is truly a sad mark on humanity, intelligence and the human race. to be in a state of continuous pain is "hell". i am astonished daily at how ignorant the human race truly is. what kevorkian did was eliminate people finding their loved ones in a pool of blood with a shotgun next to their dead body. he gave them a peaceful choice to their suffering.

  • Why does the USA have the death penalty but convicts euthanasia??

  • The secong girl is just an uneducated doll, who has been put there to state what is wrong... Listen to Jack's ideas and won't find a single element of false there...

  • the "pro death" movement exists? never heard of it.

  • WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE??????????? HAVE YOU EVER LOVED SOMEONE WHO HAS ALS......DO YOU HAVE THE GENE IN YOUR FAMILY??????? HAVE YOU WATCHED SOMEONE TRY TO BREATHE AND THEY CAN'T???????

  • LOVE SOMEONE WHO HAS ALS........REALIZE THE PAIN AND WHEN THEY WANT TO GO!!!!!!

  • OMFG KERVORKIAN JUST HELP PEOPLE DO WHAT THEY WISHED - he help people die when that was theyre last option. get over yurselfs fuckers, like this if yu agree!!

  • OMFG KRVORKIAN JUST HELP PEOPLE DO WHAT THEY WISHED - he help people die when that was theyre last option. get over yurselfs fuckers, like this if yu agree!!

  • And now Jack Kevorkian can't EVEN help out anymore.

  • If pregnant women can choose to end the life of their own child then why can't terminally ill people choose to end their own life? I just don't understand..

  • I fucking hate it when people think that they know what's best for others. "Yeah I've never actually had a terminal disease, but I'm going to decide whether you can live or die". Fucking morons.

  • @Action52TheMovie I guess it's always easier to think that you should appreciate life and just grin and bear it when it's not actually YOU doing the grinning and bearing. But it's sad that you can have so little compassion for people who are suffering beyind anyones understanding. I mean, that you can even think that they shouldn't have the right to end things on their own terms if that is their wish is beyind me.

  • @Action52TheMovie you're obviously ignorant and not listening to the video. Youk's whole family noticed he was suffering and accepted his decision in wanting to be euthanized. Even Thomas himself answered many times that he wanted to be dead because he and no chance of a normal life and was constantly scared of choking to death. Dr. Jack Kevorkian is not to blame for murder and definitely should not have gone to prison. You're a moron.

  • @xHCforeverx YOU FUCKING IDIOT! I am on Kevorkian's side. Learn to read. Holy shit people are stupid.

  • @Action52TheMovie Do you understand the difference between assisted suicide and murder? You might want to look up the definitions of both, you'll find out that they're different. You make it sound like this guy just went around killing everyone because he's a "fucking moron". Do you understand that some people WANT to die? I fucking hate it when people think they know what's best for others, meaning you. How dare you say those people did not know what they wanted.

  • @Dibbletikijr I'm gonna say this one last time for all the morons on here. I am in favor of assisted suicide. Learn to read, retard.

  • @Action52TheMovie Whether it be a terminal illness or not, one should have the choice, regardless. I am by all standards a "healthy" human being. I, for reasons unbeknownst to others, simply do not care to continue existence as is. In a nutshell, people disgust me. This plane of existence bores me and I would like to move on. Death is part of life and it should not be mourned or looked down upon. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only converted. Thereis a continuation after death.

  • Jack Kevorkian provided a service to people that should be provided to all: The right to not suffer through this anymore. He had a heart. He wasn't selfish or greedy, like these pharmaceutical companies who in turn funded the prosecution to convict him. Why is it okay for owners and veteranarians to choose when to end the life of an animal, and it isn't alright for us to decide to die with dignity and grace? He did nothing wrong.

  • @halfbreedphenom Hear Hear, I concur! I actually think that Kevorkian is probably one of the most moral people alive right now.

  • The worst decision anyone can make is to assume and trust in the medical establishment to provide dignity, quality of life and a good death. This counsel is typical of the system insiders paid to posture and position for the system but whose words have no impact upon those whose broken bodies are milked for profits, or used to exert totalitarian control over the right to control one's death.

  • Geez, that lady at the end is one ignorant cunt. She took the issue of euthanasia and made scrambled eggs out of it. She's mixing terminal illness, disability, and depression...

  • hey, idiot right-to-life woman at the end - inadequate pain management usually means tolerance to said pain management drugs. it happens with all drugs.

look at how she chooses her words - "less than perfect" - self-righteous?

there is no debate. how is this wrong? if cures were sought rather than greedy pharmaceutical 'treatments', then she would have an argument. it's degrading for people to have to go on in the face of such pain. so i feel pretty safe in calling anyone a bigot who disagrees

  • what AN IGNORANT BITCH! Of course a person who is terminally ill is handicapped. What a blatant distortion of grouping terminally ill people and person with 0 quality of life issues with the handicapped. Better PAIN management! Wake up you twit. Do you think for one second that if a person who is dosed with pain meds to the max and is STILL in pain would agree with you?

BAH! A case of attempting to sway the minds of the ignorant who don't know someone who is a candidate for DAS.

  • Mercy killing, or euthanasia is an dangerous idea and should never be a loved, because it is, in reality impossible to administer.

In a time of economic crisis, massive cut down on the public health care sector, hospitals, euthanasia will be misused on patients that is regarded as not valuable on the labour market. Especially old people will be “euthanized” by the doctors for economic and resource viewpoints. But also long time unemployed, people on sick pensions, homeless and groups a like.

  • @vkonej Assisted suicide is not a doctor killing a patient. It is a doctor helping a patient kill themselves. Why do all opposers of euthanisia get this wrong?

  • @vkonej You are a dumbass. You have this fucked up idea that DOCTORS are going to decide whether someone should live when it is the people who are DYING and no Dr. can help them. Mercy killing is way different than someone wanting to end their own suffering when in the end, death is inevitable. The survival instinct is very powerful. When you get to the point where survival means constant suffering.. game over. Check please!

Lastly.. it's NOT an economic issue. (eat my rage against your BS)

  • @vkonej thatss y it should be free dummy

  • @vkonej

    you mad?

  • 0:30

  • Honestly, he is not a selfish man. He has compassion. Doctors want you alive not because they care because your "surviving" is there income. Your the reason they get payed. If you die then they lose money. He is the most unselfish doctor. Remember he did not only help assist just anyone only patients that had no good quality of life.

  • @TheOriginalNightHawk Also he never accepted payment for his service. He believed that it was a service that should be Free! He called it a medical service not a mercy killing.

  • FYI in the Bible we find King Saul who commited suicide when he realized that he was about to be captured by the enemy. If you read the verses pertaining to King Saul's suicide you do not find that G-d held it against him in anyway. The source in the Bible is the 1st book of Samuel chapter 31 verse 4. King Saul at 1st commanded his men to kill him, when they refused he took his own life rather than fall into the hands of the enemy.

  • Would love to see her on her dying days praying for death. Jack might help her.

  • I find that woman very ignorant and stupid - to the point of beng offensive.

  • @weirdcitykid I know. RIGHT TO LIFE!?!?!?! hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

  • I'd hit that chick with a brick, she could use THAT for a brain.

  • I am only discovering this debate recently, but it is clear that this pretty young woman has been brought in to be the face of anti - right to die simply b/c she puts a youthful and hopeful face on the 'pro' cause. i actually find it offensive.

  • That woman is so arrogant. She's never seen the helpless pain some people live in. My grandmother has parkinson's disease, and hates her life. Her unhappiness is contagious, because those who love her can do nothing for her. She must remain unhappy, in pain, unable to walk or breath properly for any number of years to follow, because of people like this stupid woman in this interview. I hope she soon knows just how devastating it is to live your life in absolute pain and unhappiness.

  • @schonrain: Is she religious? because I have seen children in horrible pain who gave their pain to God, and they were in personality very content in themselves. Overall, cowards wish to die because of pain. Pain should never be feared, but be accepted and cherished.

  • @RockyBalboa211 You should never cherish pain. I agree pain should not be feared but it does need to go away. A small injury will heal but a terminally ill person's pain will never go away until they die or unless they are drugged which honestly doesn't sound much better.

  • @RockyBalboa211: God does not exist. Therefore your pain is your own, there is no one to give it to. So when you're in so much pain, I hope you can cherish it all you want.

  • Comment removed

  • @97karenlacey No, sorry to tell you, "he" does not. It's just human nature, unfortunately, to have to look up to something. We're followers, organizers, and triggermen.

  • @schonrain I Believe God Does exist. You may state you believe he does not exist. I was addressing an issue of confusion toward the Gospels. Why respond if you are unwilling to hear a different belief. YOu're reply indicates you think you have Authority to teach a theory of non-belief.You may speak for yourself certainly. But other than that is just assumtions. I assume nothing, I have a set of beliefs backed by the Bible and over 7 thousand years of history. That Deserve Respect!

  • @97karenlacey The bible was written by man. Nothing more, nothing less. I reply because religion is followed by idiots, idiots who act like the 2 year old child being left at day care for the first time, crying about something that will inevitably happen - the truth that we've nothing to follow and we are truly on our own. Humans want someone else to believe in, as we do not like the feeling of being lonely, either amongst ourselves or spiritually.

  • @schonrain Speak for yourself I am nothing like that. You will always be alone as you choose to be alone. You degrade your fellow human beings as bumbling brutes then sneer at God. You are a particulally disillusioned and jaded person, you seem to have no hope. I want good end of life care for everyone, not just run around yanking out life support. I think we should have clearer laws on this look what happened to the Shiavo's. We need discussions to create solutions. P. S. You sound depressed

  • @97karenlacey LOL! Hahahaha, I'm not depressed, I'm logical. I'm actually particularly happy, I just dislike human kind. So shut the fuck up and have a nice day =]

  • @schonrain I said you "Sound" depressed! If you can't discuss things in a mature manner you can shut up yourself. You are not logical in your arguments. How some one wants to die, has everything with how they lived. which is impacted by what they believe, that is a logical understanding of this issue. Logic would indicate learning & respecting the motivations behind people's beliefs about end of life care. Not labeling others as archaic in their morals and beliefs.

  • @97karenlacey u know everything please keep going..... sigh

  • @pope42OFdope Naw I just think alot before I comment. I try to explain my thoughts with out attacking others. It helps me make my beliefs simple and understandable. I so Do Not Know Everything. Only God knows that. But what a compliment. I will have to keep my head from swelling,( grabing a pin to pop the hot air) down ego down girl!!!!!

  • @97karenlacey Regardless, this discussion is off topic. Dr. Jack Kevorkian is a great man, and I do hope someday our society will wake up and realize this planet is overpopulated, and we need to take action. Start with killing the ones who no longer want to survive.

  • @schonrain We are on topic how people die or want to die when the times comes has everything to do with what they Believe. I respect Dr Kevorkian he was driven by the idea that no one should suffer a pointless painfilled death for that takes so long. But I don't think every one that believes in euthnisa are so noble.

  • @schonrain God does exist. Each person chooses what they live. It is not a principal of Christians to cherish pain some misguided people fall in love with the idea of the suffering of Christ .Thinking his suffering was beautiful it wasn't. What was beautiful was his willingness to die for our salvtion to redeem our sin. But that is the idea behind RockyBalboa211. It is not in the Bible that sufferings is good that is not Bibical. For your info Some people really miss the point of Jesus .

  • @RockyBalboa211Some people want out of their pain. It doesn't make them cowards just sick of being in pain. Some people suffer for years not days. My Grandfather asked for a gun as he was dying he suffered worst in the last week before he finally died. He had a pretty quick death it was four months altogether. He was lucky some people linger through months and months of pain. Cherish pain ? No Way! That is not Bibical!! Trust God Yes. Love pain No

  • @schonrain Doesn't her doctor work with her on pain management? The lastest research has greatly improved treatment for parkinson's. Is her Doc up to date on the latest treatments? From what you describe it sounds like her care is not being as aggressively pursued as possiable. Read the latest articles then ask her doc if she is a good candidate for the new treatment's. The sooner the treatments are applied the better she will respond, some can even stop the parkinson's progression or delay it.

  • @schonrain Sorry to her about your gran, that's awful.:( It explains your beliefs but it seems like you given up on fighting to make her comfortable. Watching a family member suffer is never easy. But I don't think letting them kill themselves is a solution. Things can change new treatments are being developed every day. It would be sad to have them kill themselves, then a treat ment that would have given them their life back become available.

  • if assisted suicide is regulated it will have to be prescribed, its not just "killing people" it's a local option, and every man's choice. keeping suicide illegal is illogical, for it is an unpunishable crime, and regulating such an event to take place with a doctor, in a clean way that is not surprising or traumatic to any loved ones just makes more sense.

  • @Dorothy Yeung Maybe someday you will be in a situation where you wish you could die then maybe you will understand what it feels like to suffer and there is nobody who will end your suffering. What about inmates that are on death row and are given the assisted suicide drugs because they were a murderer. Isn't the person giving the go signal to start the euthanasia a murderer too?

  • PPL that are not with Dr.Jack Kevorkian have not seen the pain he has seen over and over.

  • Jack Kevorkian IS A SMART AND CARING MAN! A GREAT MAN!

  • I think that its YOUR LIFE and if you want to end it, you have THE RIGHT TOO!!!!

  • "when citizens are educated about who exactly will be impacted..." well it won't be people with disabilities or people that are depressed, it's for the most severe cases, where death is inevitable and the suffering is too great to bear.

  • Profide adequate pain management she says, If that is so easy please answer what adequate pain management. Had them all from the morphinepump with which they gave me a sky is the limit policy so I could up my dose whenever I needed to more then 32 painoperations killing and blocking nerves. I live like this for more then 9 years now and I am 36. For some diseases there is no adequate painmanagement. And I still am not depressed only angry. Dr. Kevorkian is a man who dares to stand for something.

  • What a difference of argument. For real. One person comes out with a point that they really thought through, speaking on behalf of someone they knew closely, and the other person comes out with talking points and crazy, crazy allegations, speaking on behalf of everyone else.

  • Dorothy Yeung is a dumb cunt.

  • She is a child!! Listen to her...I have socks older than her. I have 4 degrees, 30 years of Military Service and a hell of a lot experience and this gal is delusional. She would have to be faced with Terminal Illness and pain to relate to Dr. Kevorkian, but at this point she is too naive to know better and I don't listen to so-called educated children with no experience base in life. She simply has not lived long enough to know better. Nuff Said.

  • @LRPharm54 What does age have to do having a valid belief or opinon? There are people who had no access to education and yet are profoundly wise. Then on the other hand there are over educated indiviual that are bigioted and ignorant.(not meaning that you are just that others substitute degrees for self-worth intergrity ect) It is foolish to discount the young. Remember we are human being not doings

  • the bitch Katie is so full of herself and so fucking stupid...why making a crusade out of it???, let the nature take it`s course...anyone should decide if they want do live or die...

  • About the girl who talks in the last part, I don’t think she is naturally silly but been manipulated or have the wrong information about this case.

    She looks very naïve.

  • "Were not ready to Embrace that"?!? this statement she just made does not apply to the entire population. Many families have someone who is suffering and/or will die from that terminal disease... From the looks of her, she is a perfectly healthy 30 something year old who has not had to face those same decisions... put her on the other side of this whole debate and she may just sing a different tune... she hasn't seen that kind of death face to face....

  • My mother was terminally ill. For 4 years she suffered heart bypass (at 46yrold) many strokes (she could only make sounds like a baby) both of her legs were amputated, lost the use of her right hand, but her left she couldn't control. She wore diapers, someone had to feed her. She had a tennis ball sized bed sore on her tail bone. She would cry ,yelling screaming in pain. The staff at the nursing home would close her door so they couldn't hear .Her death was long , horrible so much suffering age 54.

  • jack kovorkian is a true caring person.

and might i add, he is highly intellegant

  • FUCKING CUNT. Anyone else hear the pharmaceutical companies, and corrupt healthcare providers, agenda in her bullshit distortion of the facts? Not much money in dead people(people getting raped on funeral costs is a seperate subject) since the don't need your drugs or overpriced hospital care anymore, but keep them alive(WHEN THEY DON"T FUCKING WANT TO BE) and you can make a fortune off their suffereing.

  • I curse the bitch. I wish that she gets a cancer, suffers depression and suicidal thoughts. That every day of her life would be a nightmare. That all of her arrogant beauty would be destroyed by cancer. Finally, she would learn about her ignorance towards euthanasia.

  • this bitch is a threat to a society!!!!uneducated brain fuckd bitch,,and funny thing is she thinks that she is smart .

  • fuck you little bitch ;) ill cut your fucking head off ya fucking dictator ;) human rights if someone wants to die i would be honored to give them peace

  • You did not even come close to talking about this subject! Depressed people get a gun and kill themselves, TERMINALLY ILL people will ask for help from their doctor. If you were to hog tie yourself! TRY, to live with no arms and no legs while drooling on your face, going to the bathroom in your pants, and asking for help to shower, trying to get someone to wipe your ass, brush your teeth, all the while not knowing whats going on because you have alzheimer's. YOU try it. You will want to die!

  • I'm 24 years old right now and I can tell you now that I want the option to have assistance killing myself when I am elderly and in a wheel chair pissing in diapers. I don't even have to be terminally ill, who wants to live like that? I think Jack has been right all along! It is your human right to kill yourself!!! And if you are unable to do it yourself it should be legal for someone to help you die with dignity! That woman in the video is an idiot that has no idea what she is saying!

  • This bitch is so ignorant. These people CHOSE to die. Dr. Kevorkian didn't kill them for fun - he assisted them with the choice they made. People should have the right to die just as they have the right to live.

  • Of course this woman twists everything around. I guess she doesn't know that Kevorkian turned away the majority of people who came to him, or at least referred them to another treatment option first. Death is a last resort.

  • Why didn't anyone challenge this stupid cunt throughout the interview when she kept saying Kevorkian killed DEPRESSED?! patients? This is what the media calls a valid counter-party or counter-argument? You might as well could put a monkey on the screen whose counter-argument is that he likes bananas. And of course the 'other side of the argument' is some stupid 20-something year old community college bitch who has no experience with terminal illness whatsoever talking straight out of her ass

  • I agree with Dr. Kevorkian and I was saddened that he was convicted of anything. He is a hero and a matyr for the cause of assisted suicide. Death with Dignity.

  • the woman is a stupid bitch

  • Strange how our government and "Pro-Life" people can put someone like Jack in jail for helping terminally ill end their life while raising their arms in "Cheers" watching our military go to other countries and Kill Innocent Healthy People over Lies. -What a world we live in!-

  • @stevethul1: Well your concept of afghanistan and Iraq is incredibly simple. I mean such a general word and concept such as "lies" explains everything lol..

  • @stevethul1 Makes no sense to me either.

  • @stevethul1 religion poisons everything.

  • @BrendanIsCool - So Sadly True...

Man Made god, Not, god Made Man - Peace will be a "Stone Throw Away" when religion and gods are "Thrown Completely Away"...

  • @stevethul1 THANK YOU! Natural law ALWAYS... ALWAYS overpowers Positive law! Not everyone follows the christian faith! take it out of our laws... if we do that... probably see another crusades happen... the strongest army is the christian army... digusting.

  • @sil2k8 - You Are Very Welcome. Imagine where we'd be today if "Religions and gods" didn't rear their Ugly Heads. The world would be a peaceful joined society. Instead of orbiting the earth, we'd have abilities that religion had stifled, to see the stars. We'd have knowledge to cure diseases that harm us today. Mostly, we would no longer be killing for belief of a "Magical" all powerful "Fictitious Bully" they call god.

Man Made god, Not, god Made Man - Save Mankind, Remove Religion and gods...

  • @stevethul1 You said it all.

  • @stevethul1 I don't think you realized that religion also promotes peace. People usually don't, for most don't see it or know of it. Obviously don't attend church or go overseas where Christian organizations like Compassion and Justice International are righting wrongs against ctiizens and trying to end poverty.

Yes, sometimes religious views prevent change and causes harm, but don't even think for a minute that the world would be more peaceful if there was no religion.

  • @sil2k8 What is wrong with you? The Crusades was gross perversion of the Christian faith. It wasn't about religion or God at all. It was just the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church pursuing power and using religion as a vehicle for it. I don't understand how so many people can be so ignorant of all the good that Christianity does in this world. The only negative thing you have is something that happened 800 years ago!

  • @ColibriAnna08 You're right, but it's way more than just Christianity. Biggest problem I have with religion, is that it's forced on children without their consent. We don't allow them to choose their own political party at that age, so why force them something they know nothing about? Also religion has been the main motivation for most wars, also the Christian church forced people to believe in their beliefs; if they did not, Christianity would not be as big as it is.

  • @sil2k8 Parents raise their children to the best of their ability, and they teach them their ideals. Whether they are Christian or Atheist, every parent does this. If you lap your child's wrist when they try to steal another child's toy and say it is wrong, you are forcing your ideas on them. But is this wrong? No. Raising your child to be a Christian is not wrong either. I don't think you realize that it is done out of a concern for their well-being and, frankly, their souls.

  • @ColibriAnna08 It is wrong, those children never hear "This is what we believe happened", they are told " this is what happened, and thats how it was", your putting bullshit into their heads when they are most vulnerable to its, when they cant use their own logic to simply check your's. Over time they take your logic and believs for their own.

And indoctrinating with religion isnt the same as telling them the truths of universal morality, like don't steal and so on.

  • @loskamykos Okay, because you don't believe in it does not mean we are putting bullshit in their heads. If you raise a child as an Atheist - telling them there is no god and all religions are false - it's the same thing! They can't use their own logic, but instead they use yours.

The truths of universal morality? What you raise YOUR children by is truth, what we raise our children by is bullshit just because you say so? You are such a freaking hypocrite.
