I love Andrew Jackson Jihad, and I know that they get grouped in with some folk punk bands like mischief brew and this bike is a pipe bomb sometimes, but is it just me or do they seem more like hipsters than punks?
@Jrich767 Punks are just angry hipsters.Plus punk the culture(what we know it as) only represents a small amount of what punk music represents.I kinda think hipsters are just a non-culture, when people are an anti-conformist but don't join any sort or group and so people try to label them.Also hipsters are kinda modern day punks, jsut kinda without the voice and the movement.
@Jrich767 these kids are fanboys. youre right, they do seem like hipsters. thick rimmed glasses, playing indie music, out-of-date 'stache, couple tattoos...yeah, i like this band a lot but hipsters indeed.
