When I was a kid I loved this song. I always asked my mom to play it for me. Eventually I didn't hear it anymore as I got older and listened to my own stuff.
But then I found myself in sorrow, praying and crying out to God for the deep things I dealt with.
Who knew that one day the song I loved as a kid would have so much meaning to me. Who knew that I'd need to hear exactly what was sung because I finally faced a trial that tested my faith.

This is not why i brought you here, feel my love, feel life, feel in in your heart." I turned around and no one was there. A figure of my imagination? Dont know. But since then whenever i have bad times in my life i turn to God and Jesus. And i'm still here, 14 years later.

can't say im a big fan.... and I mean I do own nevermind, and i enjoy it, but uhh yeah in general I'm not crazy about grunge. In retrospect though I mean you have Guns N Roses, Metallica, the Clash in the 80's In the 70's you have Led Zeppelin,FleetwoodMacBoston,Deep Purple, Black Sabbath,and the 60s were just amazing... I appreciate your input. Usually if someone says they don't want to hear it I move on. The last job I got canned off of for being a Christian, I was doing a security job just me and this other guys siting doing not much of anything. So I was witnessing to him. he was receptive, but the boss didn't like it, so they started sabotaging my work. Finally they sent an martial artist in to harrass me. The guy I was witnessing to quit, but before he left he said :
My only caution for you harpozo is to let God go before you in witnessing...you need to make sure you are not following them around and preaching. God knows exactly what words will open their hearts...keep praying
But despite this; I won't stop witnessing for Jesus commanded us in matthew 28 I think it's verse 19. to go into all nations and preach the gospel. So I have a better reward waiting me. Just think what the Christians will go through during the Mark of the beast.
I've been going through a trial since I was about 28 years old; I'm now 47. I speak to people about Christ on the job, And the bosses get mad at me and cause my co-workers to turn against me, eventually I have to quit due to the bullying. This must be on my work record it seems like every where I go for new employment knows about it. So because of my witnessing I can't seem to get a job.

This song is very uplifting in times of trials and doubts. No one questions there may be better bands out there. Everyone has a song that uplifts them and this is one for many people! It's stood the test of time and people still fall back on it. That says a lot for Petra, and this song!
See, better than Petra? could be, but... that bands start to shaking the boat in 1972? they play againts the RELIGION in the 70s, 80s 90s and 00s :P? they sell his disc for money? or bigs tours? or just they put the vision in God`s hands, and make lyrics that can shine with the love of God... Petra could be worst or better than others... but, they have a true heart from the 70s until today (2005)

reminds me of when I first became a believer in Christ. I was quite excited to find this band. This cassette tape was given to me as a Christmas present by my adopted family in 1995. I had just graduated from a Christian rehabilitation program for homeless and drug addicted persons and was experiencing my first Christmas with any type of family for the first time in over a decade...This album will always remind me of those early years as a new Christian when anything was possible with God

This is indeed the song to listen to when you're really going through tough times. As well as having a good message, the melody is so moving that, if you need to have a good cry, this will surely help that happen. I speak from experience.

I just recently suffered a severe stoke at 38. This song really meant a lot to me as I was recovering. I have quite a ways to go, but I have come a long way.

This song is very uplifting in times of trials and doubts. No one questions there may be better bands out there. Everyone has a song that uplifts them and this is one for many people! It's stood the test of time and people still fall back on it. That says a lot for Petra, and this song!

See, better than Petra? could be, but... that bands start to shaking the boat in 1972? they play againts the RELIGION in the 70s, 80s 90s and 00s :P? they sell his disc for money? or bigs tours? or just they put the vision in God`s hands, and make lyrics that can shine with the love of God... Petra could be worst or better than others... but, they have a true heart from the 70s until today (2005)
So... what`s the point?

reminds me of when I first became a believer in Christ. I was quite excited to find this band. This cassette tape was given to me as a Christmas present by my adopted family in 1995. I had just graduated from a Christian rehabilitation program for homeless and drug addicted persons and was experiencing my first Christmas with any type of family for the first time in over a decade...This album will always remind me of those early years as a new Christian when anything was possible with God

Thank you SO much for posting this song! The first time I heard it, my husband had filed for divorce. I had been believing God to restore my marriage, & had waited many years. It was a time of testing for me, & when I heard this song, God used the message to CLEARly speak to my heart. When painful circumstances come into our lives, we MUST keep our eyes on HIM, & TRUST Him. We MUST have 'NO DOUBT' that He IS in control, & that some day He WILL bring good out of the pain & chaos in our lives.

This is indeed the song to listen to when you're really going through tough times. As well as having a good message, the melody is so moving that, if you need to have a good cry, this will surely help that happen. I speak from experience.
