This TIME lapse video is the reason why it is called the TIME magazine! :-) It is incredible to notice how it has slowly evolve from small decoratively-framed portraits in grayscale to large full cover iconic of current events in colour! By the way, why is the song does not seem to appear in any popular music players such as iTunes, Napster, etc.?

im an aspiring freelance magazine designer and im currently trying to design a time magazine cover for my portfolio. the only problem is that i dont have the time banner typeface which means i have to copy and paste it from yahoo pictures. unfortunayely this means i cannot place it over a photograph. does anyone know if you can download the time banner typeface.

Cost? i dunno, couple hundred dollars at least.

It's what all the pro's use though. Hell, all you have to do is crop around the letters in mspaint and paste that over top of the photo. It's not complicated.

I know what your say. I was thinking of putting fade in and out each atleast a 1 sec long but there are 4496 pics in total. that would have made the video very long. I just wanted to show how the magazine itself has evolved over time. I wish i could show every pic. anyways thanks for the comment.

@tlpHD What you can do(if you're able to do it) is show all the covers for either every decade or in every year in several videos. 85 videos(one for every year at the time of this video) or 9 videos(one for every decade). That way your able to show every cover in a decent way and not have people say it's too fast. Still a cool video though.
