Freedom of speech gives the right to speak ones own mind, share one's own thoughts with whomever one should choose. If Wikileaks were publishing their own works, thoughts and opinions, then that would be their speech, but this is not their speech, it's other peoples speech, who have had their right to choose who to share it with removed by the fact that the information was stolen.

Millions do not immigrate to the U.S from all around the world. Many do come, but only from around South America and the Middle East where there is much happening to cause unrest. The U.S no longer is the greatest place to live on earth. Quality life is no longer in existent in the U.S. Maybe in your standards, this would be true. But in general standards, it is not.

@JustSomeGuyOk the site was down for almost 24 hours when the 200,000 documents about IRAQ and AFGHAN came out... the US department said they were checking what kind of documents were put to the public to calculate what kind of dmg they would do.. and you do realize that those documents possibly have like 100000 copies of them by now in the hands of WiKiLeaks and if the site GETS shut down --- they will be all over the internet on numerous sites - as a respond..

Shutting down the site? The webpage is only on a frontend server, but the sensitive data itself is secured and scattered all over the globe. So nobody except WikLeaks themselves could delete their data.
Even if the homepage got hijacked, buiding up a mirror of the website is a matter of seconds... so no, they cannot be taken down... which is GOOD.

Diplomatic documents and communications etc were kept secret deliberately, not because diplomats are an oppressed population. Freedom of speech and right to privacy are completely different things. And the documents were all released, so that sounds pretty free to me. Stop trying to make it into something it's not.

Freedom of speech gives the right to speak ones own mind, share one's own thoughts with whomever one should choose. If Wikileaks were publishing their own works, thoughts and opinions, then that would be their speech, but this is not their speech, it's other peoples speech, who have had their right to choose who to share it with removed by the fact that the information was stolen.

Even if you could get it to spin infinitely, turning a crankshaft will cause energy loss via friction, eventually bringing it to a stop.
