Iran has never been about one nation. The fact that Greeks called Iran, persepolis because one of the four capitals of the empire was called Parsa does not change the demographics of Iran. Read a bit of history then you'll understand how Azarbaijan, Tajikistan, and a few other provinces were detached from Iran a century ago. Now I agree with you on the stupidity, its been a while since we've had any smart people running Iran, but things will change some day. However, Iran has been run mainly by Azari's for the past 800 years, so I am not sure what this clip is complaining about! So I thought that perhaps the part that was detached had a very bad experince from the Russians.
