The average life expectancy in Palestine in the 1800's was below 30 years of age, more for men than women. The infant mortality rate for the same period has been estimated at 42%. Abdu'l-Baha was a prisoner for most of his life, as was his Father and their respective families. Given these circumstances, the poor conditions, overcrowding and lack of medical assistance, I would have to say, that they fared very well.Indeed owing to the extremely hard work of Abdu'l-Baha, miraculously so.
Book. One thing I have learned about this Faith is the fact that if you cannot supply the name of the author, the book, page or verse of any comment attributed to it, it is regarded as hearsay or opinion.Abdu'l-Baha had 3 daughters die.Which one are you talking about, what is the name of the book and what page is it on, and who wrote it?
When 'Abdu'l-Baha was informed that his little daughter had expired, he was not even aware that she had a fever. Baha'is reported this proudly in one of their books.
Duty to family is more noble and important than trying to "save the world." God doesn't ask us to save the world. But he asks us to nurture our children.
Dear torozen23! This movie was dedicated to Abdul-Baha. He was son of The Prophet - Baha'u'llah. Abdul-Baha was a human, but purest soul. For us Bahais he is a perfect example. Baha'u'llah was powerful prophet, but staing in prisons for him was the acceptance of his destiny and attitude of the World. Actually the same not acceptance was with all prophets, like Jusus, Muhammad. If you want to know more please ask, I will do my best to answer.
He was married, so he has sex drive as the rest of us (human beings), he was pooping and peeing like us, how he become a god? from where the supper powers come from?
@torozen23 - He did not become "a god" there is no god save God.
He was a Messenger and Manifestation of God, the mouthpiece of God's revelation. He did not argue his case through "super powers" as you so crassly put it, but through Revelations to be investigated and considered with fair-mindedness.
@torozen23 - They said the same thing about Christ on the Cross.
Baha'u'llah would have been well within His means to escape His imprisonment, even through mere mortal capacities -- towards the end, He lived in Bahji, it would not have been terribly difficult for someone of His influence and with His array of ardent supporters to have escaped to somewhere like Greece or Bulgaria.
The fact is the location of His imprisonment was prophesied thousands of years prior. If anything, He chose it.
It is the Shrine of The Bab located in Haifa, Israel. The Bab was the forerunner of Baha'u'llah, the Manifestation of God who is the founder of the Baha'i Faith. You can find out more information about The Bab at bahai.org

The best Baha'i sects are the Reform Baha'is and the Aqdasi Bahai's.

Aqdasi●Org
These are much more true to the Baha'i Founders and the original scriptures.

If he is true god, or whatever you guys claim about his supper powers.
