I knew someone at Apple about the same time I was *building* and Intel 8080A based computer in a briefcase back in 1978 designed by Lawrence Livermore Labs while I was President of the Electronics Club in college. Before you get too impressed, it had 512 not megs, not K, byt 512 bytes of memory. I've used all types of computers since then and am using a Mac iBook for this comment.
Thanks for the tour Joel, I had to look on Google earth to see where Loveland Colorado is. I love the non-corporate Google feeling environment you've created...and yes every desk needs a lava lamp.

poor graphic designers get cheap plastic desks...tucked away in some random room. get'um some real desks and some huge monitors!
