i was just playing this on the psp, i thought i hit a glitch when i pulled the block out at the end and went down and heard the scream to complete the level. what happens when you pull the block into the other room and jump up on that ledge?

Your control is phenomenal !! As tomb raider now for a few years I still can't stop Lara from immeadiately pushing away from the wall or land having surfaced after a swim. Its usually when she s low on energy n a croc is on her tail!! Is there a trick to avoid this involuntary behaviour ..?

yer i know what you mean , its same with me, its because tomb raider is made for older computers, so i think a way to help would be to lower the usage thing, im not sure on it but theres a tutorial on it if you search something like "installing tomb raider" and it might help on there to eese it down to help the involuntary behaviour

infact try this , right click on tomb.vlp, go to 'Properties', switch to VDMSound tab, click 'Advanced' button, switch to 'Performance' tab, move CPU usage slider to the right.

It's so cool watching all these original tomb raider levels. I've never been able to get past st francis folly on the 1st tomb raider, but am on the last level on anniversary, so it's nice to see how similar or different all those later levels in TR1 are to those in TRA. I always found the graphics made the earlier TR games so difficult to play, I could never tell what was a ledge or what wasn't, etc. Or maybe that's just because of my inability to play video games very well lol

This level was ace. Really good. and you do it so well you must ov played this alooot! u get around so quickly lol took me ages. got the new anniversary game and the difference is amazing between the cistern in 1996 and it now in 2007. but i love coming back to the old ones (: put some more vidoes up, of different games, last revelation and stuff would we great!

This is the correct speed, it's the PAL version that is wrong.

oh ok... cuz i saw the other one's and they played the correct speed and then i saw this one and it was like WHOOSH! so i thought it was altered but i was wrong, nevermind.

It should be noted that the PAL version has the level timer tweaked to compensate for the lower speed, so times are identical across all versions despite speed differences (though I have heard of a few copies that are "broken" in this regard).

The Cistern is another level I despise, but again, you perform it superbly, courageously, and in a record time. I also never noticed the mega spooky sound effects in the background either, so thanks for introducing me to that :p Great jumping in the gorilla/pierre room. And that dive straight across the blocks in the slimy green room with the lever, very nice indeed. You've got your leaping down to a fine art. And yikes, you collected all those keys in an astonishing time! Awesome
