I hate how everyone is going on and on about how great cloud computing is! Sorry I will keep my data and music and photos where they belong, on my own pc! Cloud computing is not secure and it is easy for your files to be stolen off these cloud networks. A real collection of music is something you can pick up and hold, not a download and especially not streaming a song! You do not actually have a music collection if you have to stream it off a cloud server!

@moritzdave People said the same thing when vinyl fell out of style, and when people stopped buying CDs. You have never been able to pick up and "hold" a music collection, as you can't hold sound. Everything from the wax cylinder to the cloud has just been variations on giving the consumer the ability to access the songs to which they wish to listen.

@buckeyeboi42 There is no denying the convince factor of the way music is going. The ability to go from device to device and have all your music there is nice. But seriously that doesn't make it yours! At least with the Vinyl albums and CD's you had it in your physical possession and you literally could build your own personal library. So if you take the format out of the picture, all it takes is the record company pulling a title and it is gone! And the cloud is dangerous on top of it all
