There's something very strange about the results in this race. Republicans won by 18 in VA which Obama won by 6 last fall, and by 6 pts in New Jersey in a state Obama won by 15 last fall...but in a Republican district, the Conservative lost by 4? Totally at odds with the 20 pt swing elsewhere. No proof of voter fraud though so far. Maybe it was the fact that it was a 3 way race till Saturday and he was a third party candidate. I bet some Repubs just voted Repub blindly, Scuzz got 6%.

The way to rebuild a national party getting majorities in Congress and 60% in presidential elections is to only have liberal Republicans in districts where you have to. Obama is trying to define the GOP by fighting aggressively against those he thinks are marginal, like Rush or Beck. The GOP is trying to prove him wrong by pushing these corrupt losers for office. Both are wrong... the GOP is worthless if it's not defined by basic principles. The main one should be a federal system where the states have all the power.
