After watching this movie I felt a whole new respect for the people that are treated like this every day at my school. I mean I dont treat people like this and I use to just ignore the people that are making fun of others, but seeing what Carrie went through at home as well as school makes me wonder about those kid's homelife. It makes me so sad that people are treated like this for no reason at all.
The only thing I can't stand about the movie is that they make it seem like carrie has the devil inside of her when really she just had telekinesis, which in no way is considered satanic and people were constantly bullying her and she had enough and her anger got the best of her and she killed everyone with her power. She's not the devil she's the victim.

This is just great! If this trailer was about one minute longer, I'm sure they'd show the movie ending credits and thus complete the whole story in only three minutes!! @sonya11Izumi actually the remake is less like the book. the only thing that makes it "like the book" is the fact that the mother ends up dying of a heart attack initiated by Carrie...rather than stabbed like in the 1976 movie. and carrie is supposed to die and not forgive Sue, (in this remake she doesn't die and is friends with sue) I think you need to actually read the book
2. Carrie's childhood is shown where she makes stones rain from the sky.
3. Sue's nightmare ends.
4. Carrie stops her mother's heart.
I agree that this movie is not as good as the original. But this was intended to be a pilot for a T.V series where Carrie helps others with their "gift" like she has. Also this movie got 2 awards. That's pretty good for a T.V movie if you ask me.
I liked it because it was great that they kept Carrie alive at the end unlike the 1976 movie and the actress who played her was great.

This is just great! If this trailer was about one minute longer, I'm sure they'd show the movie ending credits and thus complete the whole story in only three minutes!! the original is way better than remake. i just watched the original one and i love it. when i saw this it kinda pull me to the side for the original one. because this one is tacky. remakes suck. seriously, this one sucks. you wont know, because you just watch the remake. before the original. original is the best, the 1976 carrie! :)

This is SO stupid and pointless. There is no reason this remake should have happened. Dont watch this, dont rent it. If you enjoy the book by King, then rent the original film. Maybe if people stop watching these god awful remakes.. They might stop MAKING THEM.

@WhyDoesSheLoveHim DISAGREE 110%, it is Sissy Spacek's Facial expressions (especially when she does telekinesis those eyes!) that make the HUGE difference in this movie. this girl is not bad but doesn't have that "eeriness" that Sissy displayed. plus the piper laurie as the deranged catholic mother is the real deal in here the mother is "tame" all in all compared to the original this is just mild

I like the original from 1976 a bit better, and i love the sequel and think it is underrated. but i will say this remake is more like the book which is also awesome.

@sonya11Izumi actually the remake is less like the book. the only thing that makes it "like the book" is the fact that the mother ends up dying of a heart attack initiated by Carrie...rather than stabbed like in the 1976 movie. and carrie is supposed to die and not forgive Sue, (in this remake she doesn't die and is friends with sue) I think you need to actually read the book

2. Carrie's childhood is shown where she makes stones rain from the sky.
3. Sue's nightmare ends.
4. Carrie stops her mother's heart.
I agree that this movie is not as good as the original. But this was intended to be a pilot for a T.V series where Carrie helps others with their "gift" like she has. Also this movie got 2 awards. That's pretty good for a T.V movie if you ask me.
