  • I shot in 1080 x 60i, why does my videos keep getting fuzzy lines ?

  • can you give us any wide angle shot test? thanks

  • That spindle configuration in night shots, blacks look good in my shots out loud. What settings did you use for the takes in the night? is using a noise filter to clean? Which? thanks

  • @SOCRATESMTZ There isn't a noise filter at all, the highest gain I ever shot at was 9db which doesn't have much noise. Then I just shot wide open and low shutter.

  • Hi, im testing my new nx5u and i put a cable at hd/sd/sdi out to a sony sd monitor and i havn´t signal, in the menu have VIDEO OUT - SDI - 480i and letter box 16;9, i read the manual and i don´t found how does it works, can you help me? does it could be broken? thanks.

  • For the smoke looks cool shot, did you have the blacks pumped up at all? I love that look where the blacks are just crushed into the background.

  • @AmazeNYou glad you like the demos, thanks for the comments! Yeah on this video (on all my videos, actually) I make sure all my blacks are true black. On this one I don't think I increased the black levels at all with the exception of color correcting to true black. That omni light is so bright that i can cut everything out that isn't in the light with the exposure. Yeah I love everything about the nx-5. Only problem is that the iris is hex, but I have a t2i if I need to shoot with a round one.

  • @AntiqueIvory Ah, so you corrected in post, you mean?

  • @AmazeNYou Yeah. Pretty standard thing to do, just matching color bars. I mean, thats what color bars are for is so you get true blacks and matching colors, obviously, so it's not like it has any flaws by needing to correct in post. Although, you can change the settings on the camera so that you can get those colors without correcting later if you don't want to do it in post. but yeah. great camera really i can see why its your dream camera. I agree with that.

  • How do you get such true blacks? When I'm in these situations, my footage becomes grainy. Usually my settings are 3dB gain, iris fully open, and shutter speed around 100 to let more light in, but that shutter speed seems too slow for fast movements.

  • @resonantmind anyone else have the answer to this? Im also pretty new to the camera and would love to learn to preserve black like this.

  • i to own a nx5 - what is your shutter speed? 48? i get a strobe effect and hard grain when using this mode on this camera. Any tips or tricks. One person mentioned needing plenty of lights. would love the feedback.

  • You know if is very good with low ligth than HVR Z5? is very important to me because I want to buy one of them but the best to me is work well in low ligth

could you do one demeo with the best preset in your NX5U please

  • do a city street at night with street lights.. I'd love to see more low light samples.

  • @phexus82 I just put up a city lights demo. Youtube hasn't processed it to HD yet, but hopefully it will be by the time you look at it.

  • THANKS!

  • Cool! Thanks for posting. Can you do an outdoor shot, maybe traffic, .. nothing challenging, i just want to see how good it is in normal, non-challenging conditions. thanks

  • @JogBird I just posted a city night lights one for phexus82, I'll post the outdoor shot you requested next. You can check out the other demo I put up before this one if you haven't yet also, it has a bit of daylight stuff.
