I saw this phone and the keyboard is really cool. I would really like to see other phones use this. I think Motorola is doing something similar with one of their phones. I would have liked the screen to be bigger though. I'm hoping a good phone with this type of keyboard comes to Sprint soon.

i had an alias 1 and personally it was a really good phones. it was my first phone. it was really good. i had to get a new one because i hit the NAM button. (dont do it) They sent me a Alias 2 so i was pretty pumped

I'm not sure if you can record your own or not (I don't have the phone anymore) but you can email a ringtone to yourself for just the cost of a picture message (free if you have a txt/pix plan).

Hello Jenroof. Very good video for your first one. I'd say to focus more on the new features of the phone like the keyboard(describe it more to all audiences because its such a cool feature) and also focus on things like whether it has a flash like the alias one instead of the ring tones and display things. This is mainly because all phones have different display themes and rings, you know? Like I said though, great review!

the env phones are badly made. My brother has returned the first env and env2 over 3 times for button malfunction. I had the first alias before it was called Alias. So naturally I love this phone :)

I just got this phone today. I love it. 1:25 into the presentation there's a button at the bottom right of the keyboard you can hit to change the numerical to alphabetical/qwerty when you need to text. The phone appears to be really sturdy, including the dual hinge. I got it for about $50 online at verizon versus the LG env touch for about $180. It's got most of the bells and whistles all the other phones do. What I liked about it was that it was a flip phone plus it had a physical keyboard.

Ive owned both phones and i say hands down alias 2. They pretty much have the same features but the env3 has a better camera but alias takes it all with the WOW factor. people have seen the env3 before but they almost shit their pants when they see how cool the alias 2 is.

Hi, I bought this fone about 2 weeks ago and i like it. I found a question, dont know if its just me, but i cant figure out how to scroll up on the history for mobile IM. So for example. if im using AIM, or MSN, or Yahoo, i type and receive msgs, and they go up on the screen, i can only read about 4 msgs, then they are pushed up. I see the bar on the right hand side so i know there is a history but i dont know how to go up and read them. Ive tried everything and failed. any hints anyone? thanks

Oh and another thing.. When i try to input the password for Mobile IM, it wont take uppercase characters. I press the "shift" key and it shows that it changed, but when u actually press the key( in the password section) it wont make it CAP. It will keep it lowercase. I was wondering if this is only my phone or everyone. This is really the only problem ive found, the scrolling up and the password problem. Thanks any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

BC of your SMALL hands you had issues with the SMALL buttons? LoL...and the Alias2 is supposed to be the new great thing and the front screen isn't even color, and its fatter then the orginal Alias. All I have to say is Samsung you disappointed me!...I LOVE my Alias1...Alias2 -5 Stars.

LOL, it wasn't really that I was having issues with the size or spacing of the buttons, but more that I hadn't had a chance to get used to the keyboard yet, and that I was coming from the enV2. The front screen is also color, it's just I guess you probably couldn't tell since I had it set to "Laser Dots" clock so it's black and blue-white. If I were you I'd go to the store and play with it, you may decide you like it! Hope this helps. :)

I had the Alias 1 (u740) and this Alias 2 (u750) is far superior in the multimedia department. The Alias 1 did not play stereo bluetooth, the Alias 1 had a crappier camera, the Alias 1 keyboard was a mess......and most important to some people like me, the Alias 1 was not capable of microSD cards beyond 2Gig...the Alias 2 has microSDHC so the sky's the limit for music, pictures and videos on the microSD card now. The e-ink morphing keyboard is remarkable.
