Heavier than what? Compare them to similar bikes and you will see that BMW actually builds lightweighted bikes. My FJR 1300 is heavier than a K1200GT not to mention a Pan European...
Yeah I'm buying one too :P I rode a FLHS around Aus in 96 and went off road with that so the GS should be the best all round tourer there is bar none from what I have seen. heavy yes but it will also carry two up with all the gear to some far away places :P Iron side up
I don't like sped up video. It makes it look like you were going really fast.
