daaaammn! gotta teach me that! i really love that song......cause i can relate too much to it...and i really hav a passion for music. the hardest thing i could play on da piano is probably Claire De Lune. and i was taught that.. i don't take lessons anymore (too expensive) and i want to continue (wel i ean sure i can play the clarinet, guitar and a bunch of other stuff but u get me lol). u on the other hand, don't stop playing. ur doing great!

the movie is called love story...

its about a college girl and a boy, they love each other bla bla, but then it comes out, that the girl is deadily ill, and so she dies... he is extremly sad and yeah...

i cryed the whole time during the movie. :( The song fits perfectly to the movie :D

no music, w/ the exception of a march, should it EVER b in one tempo. it should always have gradual changes in spd to emphasize dif. emotions. i do, however, believed that u played the song a lil too fast for my taste and compared to the theme song recording in the movie itself...u should note that this song was very depressing and sad bc of the death and the ultimate loss on olivers part...

here's a suggestion. . .

really take the time to really get into the music and (even if it's not written in the correct timing) feel/dwell on some notes at the top of phrases and/or the climatic parts that helps the audience get into the music as well.

because when you play you may feel connected but remember the audience isn't touching the keys:)

lol i guess some ppl dont realize that playing a song at a faster tempo doesnt necessarily take away the song's expression. I think its the opposite. The more complex versions are suppose to sound a little faster since there are more notes to fill the space. If u were to play that super slow to "feel the music" like these people complain about, it would sound so beginner-ish LOL
