Wow, that thing sure seems like it powers the front wheel up quite a bit easier than my 05 z1000 did. I now have a RS Warrior and its a cool bike but I sure miss my Z and I think this newer bodystyle Z will be my next! Too bad you didn't test it through some twisties. Cool video!

@keasy84 totally agree with you got a burnt orange 2011 650R and love the upright riding posi. When we go for weekend rides the guys on supersport bikes always get uncomfortable on long rides.. I reckon i will also eventually get a z1000 for that reason.

that is such a badass bike. I love kawasaki. My first bike was a 650r and it was incredible. I sold it and got a cbr600rr because I thought I wanted a supersport and now I hate riding it because it's so uncomfortable. My next bike will be a z1000

with over 100 degree weather no I dont think it felt weird..If I was a new rider or one who was riased in the new era of thinking you have to have full race leathers to go for a ride I guess it would feel weird but I was raised in the mid 60-and 70,s when we didnt have fancy gloves and jackets and crap with a logo on them to be cool we just rode bikes cause we enjoyed them..We raced motorcross with whatever boots ect we had..Now a daysmany people ride for "image" instead of just enjoing riding

@johnandshannon1 Gear has nothing to do with being flashy and cool. That's like saying you wouldn't wear a winter jacket in winter because it's too flashy for you. The logo and flashiness is for aesthetic appeal so people buy your product, its actual purpose is to save your fucking skin when you fall off, like a winter jacket is to keep you warm. You've entirely missed the point of what gear actually does.
