You're correct in recognizing that this is propaganda but "advancing the gay agenda" is actually just a red herring. When I say propaganda I mean the writers and network types. I don't think most people are somehow lulled into a lifestyle because of a sitcom. I think this show represents the upper middle class view of what a family is supposed to be. It's heavily materialistic and family oriented. Focus on family, there is no society. A common theme in capitalist societies.
