There is AFAIK 2 good ways to do this.

If you are lucky (and your victim is not) your victim's computer has Administrative shares enabled. This means you can access every drive on his PC over a network

E.g. \\PC-NAME\C\

Would access the C-drive

Some computers will ask for passwords, on some, this place doesnt exist, and on some you just get in ^^

You can also plant it to autorun on a USB drive, hope for them to have autorun enabled ;)

The second prank is supposed to look like a program formatting your harddisk.

Its made of the simple kind of batch problem and its very easy to understand if you just know a little about batch files.

BTW you dont need to know how its made...

Just place it somewere.. and then run it before your friend or parent are coming and then go away, or lie about that it just came while you were playing CS or whatever game you play.

Dont worry if you do click the shutdown prank virus all you have to do is go to Start then click run and type in shutdown -a

Errm i got an email with some comments but i dont really see them on the comments page but i will answer anyways...

Heres an explanatation of both pranks.

The first one is just a shortcut to order the computer to shutdown.

This will force the programs to shutdown while windows will be stopped gently and will probably not destroy anything.

Its no hack its just another way to shutdown instead of pressing start menu and shut down

1. I see no code ... 2. Not hacking, 1st prank supposedly hacking code, however it is a ultra simple CMD command put in a shortcut, plus the fact that you have to have access to the victims computer to do this, which if you have why not disable the firewall and shut it down remotely using shutdown -i from your own computer (thus remote shutdown) thats better than a shortcut plus the prank will seem like more of a joke when you friend doesn't have a clue whats happened.

I got it working for me so it should also be working for u
