@silentassassin1077 Jimi actually showed up at a Cream show in England when he was relatively unknown. He asked if he could go up on stage a play a little....This is Cream...but somehow they let him. He played "Killing Floor" and rocked the hell out of it. Clapton had always said Killing Floor was just too difficult and he didn't like playing it! The phrase "He killed god" was used a lot after that. There is a video about it somewhere on here. Check it out!

how does he do it. if youve ever played an acoustic guitar you know how thick the strings are and how hard they are to bend. how he just rips through those notes is beyond me

I believe he's fiddeling with the guitar settings. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that his volume, mids, teble, etc.. controles are on the inside of his guitar, but I'm not completly sure. haha
