This song just crossed my mine today, after years. I loved the original version (House at Pooh Corner) as a teenager when I first heard it and was a fan of Loggins&Messina. By the time my niece and nephew were born and I became a world-class auntie ;-) I heard that Kenny Loggins had had a second family and added the final verse for "Return to Pooh Corner" when his son was born.I love both songs and sang them to the children in my life for years. Great Job! I played the song at the start of my pregnancy. We tried for 5 years to get pregnant. I found out the day after my birthday that it was a little boy (which we were very glad of.) This is the first song I played when we got back to the car. I still cry to this day when I hear it. Alex is only 6 months old. Got a long way to go!

pooh didnt particularly mean anything to me but every time i hear this tune my two neices are the video in my head playing in the yard laughing. Just read about the actual Christopher Robin on wikipedia and the whole story between him and A.A. Milne is sad. The actual Christopher Robin was weird and resented his dad writing the stories and he supposedly felt exploited by his dad.

So sad the actual Christopher Robin character doesn't represent reality given how many lives Winnie The Pooh and the other characters have touched.

My oldest son is 26 and we named him Christopher Robin, too. He will be 27 in March. He always thought his name was corny since it was related to Winnie the Pooh, but, thankfully, he has gotten over that.
