No worries Klarocasi - we had a great time in Samarkand - we loved your city - we were there a year ago now and remember every part of the town - it was one of the greatest trips of our life and we loved Uzbekistan and the people there - trully an amazing country and experience - we will be back - thanks for your kindness and comments - and yes, Samarkand rocks.
you sound cheap dude. according to the current rate the taxi would have charged you little over $1, but u decided to go less than that. you should have taken a bus, would have saved much more

u need to see my town Andizhan, that's where those cars are made. U won't see many buses, only those tiny vans. Lots of them, i mean really LOTS of them. It made it on russin main news one day. On average u would have one Damas pass by every 10 seconds
