Dragunov SVD sucks compared to most snipers because of its recoil. Notice in the video, sometimes he sprays 3-4 bullets before he hits them. At that time, his enemy sucks and missed him hence the only reason he killed them. Also, most enemies in this video is 1 hit kill, which is not how it works in game.

@THEGAMINGRULER I disagree. The Dragunov is a very good rifle against opponents wearing basic armor. Recoil is easy to manage once you get used to it. Damage is good enough to 2-shot at around 30m. RoF means it has pretty good CQC in comparison to other snipers.  2 phase zoom allows you to countersnipe bolt snipers with it if you're good at aiming for heads. The only issue it has is the small mag cap. Unless you're going up against RM with EA08 armor, the draggy is very manageable.

when u are carrying a gun,you use more of your energy to hold it up,slowing down ur speed but when ur carrying a knife,the only reason u run faster is because u use less energy,it depends on the weight,carrying a desert eagle is going to be kinda like 5 knives because of its weight and a dragonuv is going to slow u down alot because its a rifle.....it all depends on the weight of the weapon,but if they are attached to ur backpack, its going to be the same as if ur carrying a rifle..think bout it

@naseweis93 vss: low damage, low range, low recoil, high rof, Silenced, 3-4 shots kill, expensive.

svd: more damage, medium range, recoil/rof depend on mods, 2 shot at mid-far, one shot close, perfect moveshot, cheap.

vss is a flanking wep, used in demo/escort to tag and uav enemies from behind as they wont get a direction indicator, useless in annihilation for the present uava maps. Drag mid range anti-infantary sr, has uses in all the modes. Given the current maps, dragunov is a better buy.

But it's not.. The reason why Dragunov has low recoil in his video is simply he is

controlling Dragunov's recoil completely. Do you think it is easy to use Dragunov

He's good at moving around the map, and he has good reaction time, but he is definitely not a skilled sniper by any stretch of the imagination.

@General4nubis Snipers IRL don't aim for the head. It's too small a target and too many things can go wrong. Generally they aim for the upper chest since it's a much larger target and still has lethal killing force. Also try shooting the drag in AVA. The skill comes from maintaining control of the reticule after each shot instead of how well you can camp and spawnkill like most other games.
