If his father was indeed Barack H. Obama from Kenya, then he is not a natural born citizen. Obama SR was a British citizen, so all his children are British citizens too. Persons that were born with dual citizenship are not eligible to be President.

It is not that he can't do it, but that he won't do it. He was adopted by his stepfather Lolo Soetoro in 1966, and the records would show this. According to Indonesian law, if you are adopted before age 6, you become an Indonesian citizen. His school records in Jakarta state he was an Indonesian citizen, and his parents divorce papers from 1980, also indicate they had 2 children- Barack and Maya. If he was not adopted, those papers would show only one child from the marriage-his sister Maya.

Regarding the birth certificate controversy, I'm an agnostic. However, there are so many interesting angles to this story, I find it hard to believe a real reporter wouldn't investigate. For example, undisputed is a school record from Indonesia which lists Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, as a muslim with a citizenship of Indonesian. This brings up so many questions, I don't even have room for them. But questions about this quy are legitimate and need to be answered.
