When it comes to eating, you have to KILL something to survive, be it an animal or plant. Plants provide oxygen, animals provide meat. I will eat the animal thank you. As BlackMaskStudios said, "We have canine teeth for a reason". I kill deer, hogs, cows, chickens, and goats; the skin and other nonconsumable items are sent elsewhere for manufactural purposes. And I eat everything that I can from the animals. That's their purpose on the planet.

God, I hate it when people call us hunters monsters just because we hunt and kill animals. You want someone to call a monster, go to a slaughter house and call the owner a monster. Or go find a puppy mill. Both make animals suffer before they die. At least hunters try to make the animal feel as little pain as possible.
