  • What is the solo that Jason Becker is playing ?

  • What is the solo that Jaons Becker is playing ?

  • Hey guy's check out this guitar god : watch?v=fHx4ekpgUok .!

He is underrated has fuck .......

    Thanks you guy's

  • @GavHarrison2112 I don't understand typical "metal" guitarists. Michael Romeo, Tom Hess, Christian Muenzner, Muhammed Suicmez. All incredible. Petrucci is insanely good and educated, but don't throw a low blow at metal just because of some douche, who obviously doesn't play, on YouTube. Technical death metal and progressive metal takes serious music knowledge and technical ability.

  • @stevegrierson Michael Romeo, perfect with phrasing and tempo pacing as well. How do people forget him. Or Tom frigging Hess, who is ridiculous (I think rusty was a student of toms at one point).

  • @GavHarrison2112 "how exactly does Petrucci 'suxx balls'" haha

  • which buckthead song is playing in the beginning?

  • @abhineet123451 Nottingham Lace

  • @xboxdragondude now i have the same opinion.:))

  • i´m sorry but shawn lane and chris feener are faster than those famous guys !!!

  • @hughlaw1 Sure have! Let me know if your interested in seeing pictures etc. (:

I also give guitar lessons myself :P

If anyone is interested let me know

  • which malmsteen song is that some one please! tell me D:

  • Don't these guys bore themselves shitless playing with no breaks nor phrasing. I thought fast passages were to compliment and add tension. Buckethead has the balance, as does John Petrucci, Malmsteen over plays, forget the last two; without speed Rusty Cooley has nothing, MAB is just hyper over indulgent. Guthrie Govan is the next generation of guitarist (no over reliance on overdrive, humble and accessible, anti hero persona, glorious phrasing and most importantly versatile)

  • @stevegrierson I'll agree with you on MAB (hate him) but Rusty's Older stuff was amazing. Only when he started solo work did his shredding get in the way of his composition.

  • @stevegrierson thats the skill my friend....!!! playing long passages really fast ..try it..u'll come to noe..the amount of fucking practice u need...!!! mr john petrucci suxx balls...buckethead dosent noe shit...!!!

    malmsteen is god...!!!

  • @metalgodmaiden How, exactly, does Petrucci "suxx balls" ?? Considering his training at Berklee, dabbling in jazz fusion ("rock discipline" dvd) and classical, as well as his near flawless balance of speed/musicality in solos like "Spirit carries on", "hollow years", & "trial of tears"?? I mean if you personally dislike his musical style that's one thing, but objectively speaking, he's an incredibly accomplished guitarist to say the least. Far superior to typical "metal" guitarists.

  • @stevegrierson Best comment regarding guitarists I've seen.

  • am i the only one who kind of hates buckethead? Just checking.

  • @shamirjuustafar I agree, his stuff is very uninteresting, very very fast, and technically difficult, but very unappealing to me. Like, joe satriani and malmsteen are far better imo

  • @shamirjuustafar I do too. He shreds, but he barely puts any phrasing in it. It is just as when I hear Michael Angelo Batio...Fast, but almost phraseless!

  • buckethead anyday fellas

  • hw can anyone not like nottingham lace....cmon..

  • Comment removed

  • you need to check out jeff loomis if you like rusty cooley.

  • what is the buckethead song

  • @GroupyCocaineCrazy I agree completely, and my dad would love you for saying that

  • sounds like a bunch people playing scales to me -- where is the melody. Watch a guy like martin taylor

  • @fearfultom well yeah, all melody comes from a scale! ;)

  • The best guitar player is Jimmy Page. End of story.

  • awesome list

  • tank!...?????????????????

  • well said

  • AND I'll take Paul Gilbert over these five any day....and Petrucci deserves it

  • it all changes when yuh give them an acoustic...who makes THAT list?

  • I hate when people are always like speed isn't everything, or fast and nothing else, like come on seriously speed is cool and speed isn't everything true but neither is holding a note for ten minutes and looking like you are having an orgasm onstage while the note is being held

  • @MartyFriedmanRulez66

apparently grammar isn't either. if people like speed that cool for them. i agree speed isn't everything, but it is an element that makes a guitarist good.

  • @thehan64 EXACTLY and sorry about the bad grammar :P Dan Donegan from Disturbed perfect example of both speed and soul in a beautiful mixture

  • you considerated only the speed.....will be chainsaws

  • this is nowhere...listen to john coltrane

  • what's the name of the bucket head song??

  • @akistimmons Nottingham lace

  • hey does anyone know the name of the intro song ?

  • NUMBER ONE MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO! Yeah..guy can make music...got outstanding tehnique and good feeling! :)

  • eric clapton is god straight upp

  • Im gonna say to those who dont know just cuz their fast doesnt mean their all tht good their just random

  • I'm surprised Jeff Loomis is not on here :/

  • rusty sounds like a 8bit nintendo game ^^ rofl

  • @Fl4k Rusty Cooley ALWAYS sounds like an 8bit nintendo game. He's all speed and no technique.

  • @burningred73 in order to be that fast and play what he's playing you NEED technique haha. That doesn't make any sense =P

  • @hughlaw1 Eh.. for the most part. But lots of players are just like Rusty Cooley, Kerry King , Herman Li etc etc are all speed and nothing more

  • @burningred73 totally agree with you on herman li and kerry king, those guys are literally just fast with no technique but rusty cooley has his technique DOWN. Watch any of his instructional videos and you'll see. But on latter 2 you said i couldnt agree more

  • @hughlaw1 I also agree.BUT Rusty Cooley absolutely has his shit down.He has the speed, the knowledge, the technique, and the Theory to put any other guitarist out there to absolute shame.I can say so because I have taken lessons from him. If you don't believe me,I can send you pictures, video, whatever you want. But when he talks about music it literally is unbelievable how much music theory he knows. The loomis and rusty Cooley interview.Loomis says "Oh thats only 4 frets away right? Rusty laughs.

  • @LolWotGuitar You've had lessons from cooley? Thats awesome! =D

  • Que bosta de lista

  • ...where is Chris Impellitteri in your list?

  • 3:02 shit!!! ,.., is the number 1

  • cant you all read??

this are his top 5 not the best top 5

  • speed is definately impressive but no one NO ONE gets the sound from aa guyitar like Jimmy Page.

  • Where is John Mc Laughlin?

  • Hey Man, great tunes..But, your video title should be "in the world" NOT "on the world" LMFAO !:-)

  • y herman_li

  • wheres Eddie VanHanlen?????

  • @freelosofem that is a very good question!!

  • @freelosofem

that was a joke right? eddie van halen is fast, but nowhere even remotely close to these guys on the level of speed.

  • hey speed doesn't necessarily mean you're a good guitarist.... thats all i see in this video.. guys who play really fast

  • @david32151 but these guys have such acomplished technique that it makes them good. there all flawless

  • Buckethead has more awesome songs than the rest put together times 2.

  • Petrucci has so much more then just random speed.

  • In the words of Dave (Megadeth) "Waddili doo on the leads"

  • i think bucket head and paul gilbert are the same , so no matter one of them

  • Your missing mick thomson and/or Synyster Gates.

  • @a7xrulez1000 That's a good joke bro.

  • I can´t believe it, there isn´t Jari Maempaa, his solos are orgasmic each one.

  • Hey man the song at the minute 3:03, where can i find it??? some one tell me please, i just try to find in you tube but i couldn´t. So please, please.

  • @siegfriedkantus

    Rusty Cooley - The Duel

  • @FurbyParade226 thanks man, and can you tell me the name of the song at minute 3:53 please.

  • @siegfriedkantus

Rusty Cooley - Under the Influence

  • @FurbyParade226 Thanks again dude, greetins from Mexico.

  • @siegfriedkantus Cheers from Pennsylvania ;D!! And btw siegfriedkantus, Ensiferum was the bomb. Still waiting for Time!

  • @FurbyParade226 Yes yes man, we´re tired to still waitin for the Time album, may be is a wonderfull (i hope so), even Hitler is geting carazy to wait jejeje anyway, i can´t wait anymore, it will be released in this year???

  • >>>>> Pop Voravit <<<<

  • Chirs broderick jeff loomis? jason becker!!?? Tosin Abasi?!?!?!?!?!

  • @manmeteencoolenaam this + shawn lane & guthrie govan????

  • Wheres Paul Gilbet? Luca Turilli? Michael Romeo? Alexi Laiho? Jason Becker? D:

  • Comon guys its Steve vai or the satch all the way

  • opinoins are like assholes= everybody has one!

  • @peak199

No, it's like an ass; divided.

  • I want to say like asdio02, whare is gilbert, and muhammed suicmez????

and buckedhead is the best, he do a style of music, some buckedhead. all the guitarist you show just play in the same way (neoclassical solo and not with big soul)

it's only the thecnique or the speed, its the music first. And if you want some speed really clean -> muhammed suicmez

  • @chaumontbruno1 ha ha ha ha ha ha ha gasp,ha ha ha ha ha sigh, gag ,laughing so hard I might choke to death!

  • hey ..

whats the name of the song from buckethead?? PLS"

  • @hffzhfzujhffhfhfhfhn Nottingham Lace

  • chopping block bb i can take them on:)

  • Batio is just the faster, he can't be called the best guitarist.

Petrucci is my favourite one, but i think that everyone likes a different guitarist. I heard someone that sayd that the best guitarrist of ever is the Greenday's one, for example. Or I heard someone that sayd that Herman Li is the best.

  • John Petrucci and Rusty Cooley are far better than this poser Batio

  • john petrucci should be #1 just saying hahaha. hes only god i mean

  • faill

  • MAB is the best

  • U Clearly dont know the first thing about music...guitar is not a speed race dude.It was like listening to the same alternate picking lick for 7.49

  • Theres Yngwie but not Gilbert ? What a shame

  • man what is with Michael Angelo Batio he is the best

  • is it me, because everytime i see john petrucci with long hair he looks heavier and when he has short hair he looks skinny, is it because he has heavy hair?

  • Comment removed

  • for me...jason becker is da no 1..but he got a bad luck...

  • Where is Shawn Lane?

  • Synyster Gates !?!?

  • @Emohazard1 Synyster gates is a good guitarist, but these guys eat him for breakfast!

  • @Emohazard1 Gates is nowhere near these guys, mang.

  • Jeff loomis?

  • @DimeWylde887 Agreed.....where the hell is he.....Jeff Loomis is a fucking crazy fast guitarist.

  • buckethead is the BEST.

  • Steve Vai ???? He is the fastest player recorded ! Why is he not on this list ???

  • freetrader0000

Petrucci is a fine musician. However, he couldn't tune the late Shawn Lane's guitar.

    Do your homework.

  • Paul Gilbert,Shawn Lane,Guthrie Govan.

  • name of the first song PLEASE!!

  • @increhivle Nottingham Lace..i think

  • marty friedman?

  • cual es la 1era de buckeathead??

  • They sound like F-ing synthesizers... or maybe a synthesizer F-ing a synthesizer, so gives a SH*T?

  • MAB has chops but he seems the progressions he writes are pretty damn cheesy

  • Where's Justin Bieber?!!!!!!!!!!

  • @splendora I missed him too...

  • @arup02 I saw some bootlegs where he plays Jason Becker's Perpetual Burn with one hand, singing Jeff Buckley's Grace in the meantime!

Most seriously where's Jason Becker? His arpeggios are just amazing!

  • @splendora in ur ass faggot

  • @xXllPARDOWllXx a guy like you saying I'm a faggot... stop dope mr crossdresser. and don't insult people you don't know.

  • @xXllPARDOWllXx wow u mad yo?

  • i say yngwie is fastest but steve vai should be in here

  • Petrucci is not #1 in this list because jeanseb36 didn't see him live, when recorded in god mode, the recording equipment crashes, so people aren't able to see the full power of god. The famous guitarists in this world were born when John Petrucci played for the first time.

  • @freetrader0000 rusty and michael angelo are faster than petrucci ^^

  • @metalicdean Sir, you must be on crack.

  • @freetrader0000 Shouldn't that read "born 9 months after John Petrucci played for the first time"?

  • @freetrader0000 im beyond petrucci

  • @axatheoriginalbiitch right...

  • @freetrader0000 ahahaha true im serious... way beyond...

  • @axatheoriginalbiitch Yeah, and I'm taller than this guy: /watch?v=zL_nklbytbY

  • @freetrader0000 ahahaha im not going to watch!!! what if is something Gross?!!! im a girl!

  • @axatheoriginalbiitch Guinness World Records - the tallest man in the world

  • @freetrader0000 Guinness Records are Gross!!!!

  • @freetrader0000 yes petrucci is good but the most fast is michael angelo batio see videos he is the best see no boundaries video and answer xD

  • @criticon0078 Basic chromantic scales

  • @criticon0078 imo rusty is faster...

  • 1 Satriani

    2 Michael "The Fat-Ass" Romeo

    3 Tony Mc Alpine

    4 Greg Howe

5 Chris Broderick / Kiko Loureiro

  • @GuilleBlitzkrieg where is, jeff loomis, jason becker and rusty cooley??

  • @xDimebladex Loomis,Becker and "Krusty" Cooley play good but I don't like them! So that's my opinion...

  • @GuilleBlitzkrieg k

    but were is steve vai?

I mean he is atr least as good as satriani

  • @xDimebladex Well Kind !! I dont like Vai !!!! Probably he's technically as good as Satriani but Joe has better tunes !

I already made my list.... And those are the players I enjoy so if u disagree with it that's not my problem it's yours!!! Don't bother ...Write your own list ,ok ??? I'll respect it !!! Bis bald !

  • @xDimebladex Ha, 4:30 has Rusty LOL!!

  • @wscase11303 i know that the video has rusty.

my question was not for the guy who made the video, it was for someone who commented it^^

  • Ok, this is your list, but where are S. Vai and Satriani ? The masters?!

  • That was crap!!!!!!!

  • Fuck batio... his guitar playing is so dry

  • Wheres Paul Gilbert!!!!!!????

  • @asdio02 I agree lol

  • @asdio02 that are HIS favourite guitar players not those you want to see.

  • @asdio02 lol number 4...?

  • @asdio02 hes lame, a scale player and tech. no feeling...and thats my oppinion so no need to get so pissed k?

  • @asdio02 He's Buckethead.... but no, that's an old myth.

  • ...gives you that soulful feeling, what matters is if the player put their soul into the playing. That is what makes a player good or not.

  • Speed and soul can either go hand in hand or can wage war with each other. They honestly aren't directly related in any way. You can have soul playing slow or fast. Same with playing without any soul. The one thing I get sick of is that people keep trying to say that playing fast means that you are a good or great guitarist or better than people that play slower. It doesn't. It means you play faster. What really matters is the soul put in. Whether its the Blues scale or the Lydian Mode that...

  • what a stupid band

  • Raw speed is another "brush stroke" on the palette of music. Not that Malmsteen is better than Beck, nor is Impelliteri better than Buckingham...it's all about personal taste. Most guitarists have a dalliance (ok...a serious fling...) with speed. I could play 16ths at 180 bpm, picking everything clean, but listening to any style is educating too. Speed doesn't necessarily mean you don't have soul, it just means you interpret soul differently.

  • Soul/emotion is what you make of it. Don't let these blues snobs distort your feelings towards another players song just because they are being close-minded and ridiculous.

  • Being fast and having some soul are miles apart dude!!!! None of these guys do.....

  • @xboxdragondude so true. another good example is hollow years (@ budokan) no one on this list could play like that.

  • @xboxdragondude On that note, Wither has a more passionate Solo than any of these guitarists have made. Wither also being another Petrucci/Dream Theater song.

  • what are the songs by buckethead?

  • @IWATCH2MUCHTV97 The song by Buckethead is Nottingham Lace, he just edited it and split out part of the solo.

  • que buen top me top y esta muy bueno yo tambien opino lo mismo de michael angelo es el mejor

  • Comment removed

  • Steve via??

  • John Petrucci is faster than Malmsteen.. and probably MAB and Rusty aswell, he's insane at shredding, but still makes great music. I've never seen anyone with more control while playing a solo than Petrucci, and he even often makes his playing look easy. Thumbs down to mindless shredding (MAB does this a bit too much in between)

  • Slash and MAB are the best. :D MAB - Yngwie

  • @olo2223 jesteś ciota Jiimy Page is the best

  • Buckethead is shit. George Lynch pawns everyone in the list

  • @dxvolt george lynch is a slooopppy guitar player. even though his mr scray riff is one of the best of all time in my opinion

  • @monroe881 sloppy? are you f kidding me? cmon

  • the best guitarist in the worl is slash.he was , is and will be.
