question i played persona 3 but not fes, i plan on buying fes but i know it has 2 versions "the anser" and "the journey" , in order to understand the answer its best to play the journey my question is this if i have beaten persona 3 do i still have to play the journey on fes to understand the answer?

I love how Shinji's last moment of Epicness was that he had to die in the center of the street lamp's light

I sorta wish he would have lived and magically got over those pills like Chidori did. Maybe give up his persona I don't know lol. He was my favorite character. I find it suckish that in the PSP when you're female that he dies or goes in a coma the night after you tell him you love him. What an ass move atlus > A > lol

@rasone0104 oh great idea, just one problem....its the dark hour! no electrical devices work and the only thing that saved him from his death in p3p is his watch which he gains back from Mshe, this does not happen in FES.

@KiraKisa100 Once you get his social link to rank 9, he'll tell you that he can't find his pocket watch. Before you max out his social link, TALK to Officer Kurokawa and he'll hand you the item. Then talk to Shinjiro and give him his pocketwatch when told.

And if you want the extra "Love" scene, just talk to him again the next day after you complete his link.

Oh, and you have to complete his link by Oct. 2 or else he'll still die.

So happy I could find this on youtube, the PSP is wonderful but you just can't quite get the same level of creepiness without the anime cutscenes. The only voice actor that really makes me grind my teeth is Fuuka's... ugh. Ken's is ok compared to her.

It's been a while since i'vep layed the game. I expected Ikitsuki to have more of a maniacal laugh as he fell. But I guess when he knew that his dreams and aspirations of ruling a new kind of world would never come true, he can't laugh victoriously but laugh sadly and pathetically.

This seems to be like a polar opposite to Persona 4's story.

P4= Saving the world and kinda carefree.

P3 (FES)= Saving the world, and this story seems kinda dark.

Too bad for me I didn't get the chance to play this.

To be honest, I think Persona 4 has the better story because when you're saving the world, your teammates are all working together to help you, so you're all bonded together like a family. (Anyone who's seen the true ending knows that.) P3 is more 'saving the world because enough people have died already' and WAY too people die in P3. And your teammates aren't nearly as family like as in P4.

@kakcp13 That's a bit harsh. :c But if Shinjiro never died, Akihiko and Ken would've never had their resolution. It made the team stronger. If Shinjiro didn't die protecting Ken, he would've died later on from the meds, which I think is worse. You know, either collapsing in a fit of coughs while spitting up blood, or being stuck in a bed in the hospital til he finally dies.

But Shinjiro is one of my fav characters, don't get me wrong. D': But I just feel like he had to die...
