"Jews do need [Jesus] in order to have a relationship with God."
Did Adam, Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, David, Solomon, the prophets etc. did all of these men have NO relationship with our God? How did they do it?
Can only one who knows Jesus be met by the Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit? If yes, why?
Human blood sacrifice is forbidden in the Torah the children of Israel know this ... I think genuine christians who believe that Jesus shed his blood for our sins, need to look at this seriously ... my family are christians and they have rejected me because I believe this fact. It's frightening to know that we have been taught lies by our own ancestors AND NOT BY the faithful CHILDREN OF ISRAEL
It appears that Yeshua actually supported this in the N.T. " My brethren are those who hear my Father's commands and OBEY them." ... Is it possible that when Yeshua speaks of himself as the "Way" the "Truth" etc... could it be metaphoric for " the WORD" OF THE L-RD? as mentioned in the Tenakh? "I've come in my Father's name" therefore, the messenger from the Most High? "The Word of the L-rd spoke...
The biblical history may be in question... but his WORDS seem unmistakeable.
@Jews4Judaism Faithfulness to God's commands, as the verse continues "through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil". Jesus made the statement "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." in John 14:6. God prescribes the way that we can come before Him: Nadab and Abihu are great examples of that. See Leviticus 10:1-3 and 16:1-2
@aarontrank So when it says in Proverbs 16:6 that sins can be attoned for through love and faithfulness it's not really saying that you can attone for sins by that method.
Notice please that proverbs 16:6 address the issue of atonement directly and clearly. Like wise Micah 6:6-8 deals directly and clearly with issue of coming before G-d. None of them mention the need for blood.

How do you understand Proverbs 16:6 Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for...
Where in Scripture does it say that you cannot have a relationship with G-d with Jesus?
