I think the comments given simply show the lack of evaluation by many Americans. Emotions are great unless they are eclipsing intellectual evaluation of the different positions. We the American people have been led to use our emotions to give credence to debate positions. This is short sighted and wrong. We should use the candidates character as the lens through which we evaluate their statements. Only 1 of the candidates has moderately good character, the others have demonstrated otherwise.

I would like to see a written debate where the candidates are posed questions in a serious manner to be addressed in writing primarily. Why? Because double talk is harder in text. Its harder to get away from the topic at hand and get away with it.

I wouldnt mind them reading the answer or giving another spoken answer, as long as I could get a serious look at a written answer as well. So that those of us who want a serious response can find one. But that is a pipe dream. It would be too ethical.
