I'm not running Maori down, I'm just trying to point out that your argument for Haka being "better" than Samoan/Tongan war-dances is flawed. Meaningful, yes, because the Sipi Tau, and Siva Tau that the rugby teams perform are adapted for sport, but intensity or "which is better" can't be measured in any way and therefore comes down to opinion.

Just because the haka is well recognised doesn't necessarily mean that it's better or superior over the others. Each one has its own uniqueness in terms of culture and traditional flavor so lets just enjoy it!

i think your trying to say that i am being arrogant, egotistical, self centered, an self absorbed, but it seems to me, when some one speaks TRUTH, it tends to work in to ways, people either AGREE or DIS AGREE, an have ill feelings towards that person, i believe this is what you have towards me, the fact of the matter is, is that the maori haka, is truly more intense, an has alot more meaning behind it, there is not just one haka bout thousands, hope you anxt towards me or my opinion changes

like i said in my previous comment, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THE ONE AN ONLY HAKA, KA MATE is the only haka, we have thousands upon thousands, whether it is my tongan side the SIPI TAU, the samoan SIVA TAU, or the NIUEAN HAKA, the general consensus of the population through out the world is the the MAORI HAKA IS THE MOST FEARED MOST FEROCIOUS, an MOST INTENESE, whehter it was NAZI's soliders of 1000 strong that experinced it while running away from a group of 50 maori battalion soliders
