At the end of the film a man can be seen taking a photograph. We have meanwhile discovered the picture he took - it was for the Dutch newspaper "De Telegraaf" and appeared a day later in the paper. The cameraman who made the film can be seen in the photo!
Excellent footage from 1926. It appears that he had shed a little weight by the time he made "King of Jazz" in 1929-30By 1932, he had dropped at least 100lbs, at the insistance of his wife. Look at him in 1928 from the footage of "My Ohio Home", when he tears up his Victor contract, signing with Columbia. His last recording for Victor before going to Columbia was "You Took Advantage of Me" Voc by Crosby, Barris, and Rinker; Written by Rogers and Hart. Let's see more footage please if possible
