That's one of my great peeves as well. There are some fabulous free charts available online, so I don't see why a company that actually makes money from my trading doesn't have better charts. I haven't found a good live $US index though (all the full-screen ones I've found are 15 minute delayed) so I pay the extra dollar to IB for the DX data feed and try my best to use their antiquated charts.
I do love this music. Please tell me the artist and the title of the song. Also please redo the IB chart comparisons analysis with some vocal narrative as your next video.
Just my two cents, but, if in doubt with the IB charting package, just interface with the free "Medved Quote Tracker" charts.

I am with IB now and can't freakin' stand their trading platforms. The only good thing that keeps me there are the cheap commisions.

Sure IB is great! Especially when the Timber Hill trading division sets off the stops of smaller traders. nice trick gents!!!!!

I may have an answer to your slow loading of your charts.
1.You may have been programmed to a long time frame of multiple days, as: 5, 7 or 10 days. Change the number of days to one, and then enter.
2. You could interface with Medved Quote Tracker system for your charting.

Yeah, the IB TWS charts are unfortunately not very competent, but the TWS are still one of the best trade platform for me.
