If you got a choice for it, opt in for an Android phone. If you're on Sprint, as I suspect, the Hero, or the Evo if you got the money for it, are AGES (literally 6 years ahead in tech years) of anything RIM makes. All the blackberry phones are always going to be behind by a large margin compared to any other smartphone except for some of the generic cheap ones that are offered for free.

@pshea16 naw this phone looks nothing like the palm pre. Just because it slides up and has a qwerty board doesnt mean its a palm pre. I guess the palm pre looks like the htc dual since palm pre was released after.
Imma go with the latest Torch, which is Torch 2.. it is the perfect Torch instead of the 9800..

i dunno. i checked the specs and its only .6 mm deeper than the 9700, but im not convinced that the design is crackin.
