NO? Since when do you use vigorous petrol to stitch and put the seats in a the car, the batteries are recycled the body is recycled. If a car is scrapped the tires are used again the body is recycled and the battery. So if you dont believe me then you must think that every prius that is made ends up using a gallon per second of gas to turn on the windshield wipers even though the engine isn't using anything at a standstill.

people hybrids still use gas your not sticking it to anyone but yourselves, mpg don't matter, you still have to put gas in it, and they charge you alot more for a few more mpg, its assinine! don't fall for it you will still be supporting the oil company!

@fenwayfan1 not only that, since its a hybrid, there are 2 engines (one gas and one electric) so now they're using more energy to drag the weight of one and a half cars around at slower acceleration rates.

wat about all the fossil fuels and gas that we need. It is better in manfacturing to go used but if more people support the hybrid idea and chevy bolt, there will be cars in the future that will be manufactures alot more efficeiently and use little or no gas.
