Next summer I'm taking my Flip Ultra and the underwater case on a 2-week Dory boat trip on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. I don't know if it will actually get submerged, but the Flip is sure to get wet going through the rapids.
@theflip Wondering if you could tell me what I'm missing. I bought the underwater case for my flip. Could barely get the camera in it and none of the external buttons worked once the camera was in. Not to mention is kept popping open. Then I needed a knife to get it out. Just returned from Cozumel and was very disapointed that I didnt get to use the Flip underwater.
The video is surely inferior. I was using a relatively inexpensive video camera. As I note in the sidebar, the water was clearer at our first stop, but I have no video of that. I did not do any diving, which would have improved the pictures a lot, taking the reefs up close.
i think i went to tht exact spot it was beautiful and amazing i had an ear infection tht day it was sooo bad but i decided it was a once in a lifetime chance so i did it anyway =)
but there was a really cool dude tht looked like johhny depp(really promise)

How would you say the clarity of the photo is compared to the actual clarity of the water in person??
