Looks like this was taken at the loop? If so, I was there that year. Left before that shooting right there that someone was nailed with a bullet.

But that's the best section for burnouts, cops don't do a thing there!

Yeah had something to do with a shoot out right there at the loop. Some dude got shot

and then police came in with teargas and rubber bullets i guess. Then I'm almost positive that

during the same year, some dumbass with a Viper Gts coupe tried to run from the cops or was racing

and ended up crashing into a light post. Idiot tried getting out and running on foot lol. Kind of hard to runaway when you leave your car behind with plates, especially a car like a viper.

shit i remember when woodward dream cruise first started the cops didnt care if you done burn outs but after a few years they got to be bitches bout it and give u tickets i wish i was still in MI i would be going every year

Yeah the one in '09 was weak, cops EVERYWHERE. No burnouts whatsoever, one guy in a Trans Am took off from the light a little hard and a cop chased after him. :( Nowhere near as fun as i used to be. Hopefully they let up this year.

@noob5000000 yeah cops has to ruin the fun for every one but its still worth going to i remember back in 2000 the cops kept busting the blus brothers car every few miles for doing burn outs but he just kept doing em the dream cruise is like MI mardi gra only with cars and women
