  • im from florida been thro the everglades all the time that is a manatee i haved seen them up close some have longer snouts some are blunt its tail shows it was hit by a boat

  • It's Obama bathing. Nuff said.

  • Well order some idiot out in the lake and film it.. ^^

  • The clip from MQ looked NOTHING like a manatee! They have short rounded snouts!!! 1:18- how the hell does a jackal/ dog-like narrow snout look like a manatees?! I think it's something we haven't catalogued in a long time or never discovered. It could even be a seal that's evolved in some way under man's radar in the last few centuries. There could be a number of explanations. The last vid, I must admit, made me think of a crocodile, so it obviously has reptilian features and physical traits.

  • @Portgas5DsPhoenix

    Good observations

  • Yeah I see just see a crocodile have way through the vid.

  • ... you know I'm not an expert on such things, but your second creture is mor aligator like? rather than prehistoric monster

  • @wdmhcmaki1,

Alligator is very much a prehistoric monster type animal. We dont think of it that way because we are used to it living among us.

  • I believe it could be what your possible candidate was. But it could be any type of prehistoric reptile or "dinosaur" so many we never found. But look how turtles never left, or birds for that matter. All other types of animals have just evolved to more modern standards but if they cover everything up to "research" we'll never get to see one for sure...

  • I see a manatee and a gator.

  • How many freakin times are we gonna go through this? here we go again finding a prehistoric animal. why dont we just say the se is WAY way way WAY cooler than the stupid dinosaur lands!

  • Does anybody have more info on that story at the end of the video sounds cool and wud love more details?

  • @Masa8204

    Try googling about it.

  • its either a croc or an odd angle of the previous creature.

  • anybody else notice that at 1:45 the ladyies desktop background looks like two things going at it?

  • i seen this episode 2 im 12and im not sure its a mosasure because there to big and dont have space in the lake it could be another creature its not a manatie because the tail and not a seal its to big so. why wont the guy let us research his creature this rises suspicion but thre is some crature and we will soon figre this out

  • florida had a sea monsteR? O.o

  • Its just a hippo-croc.

  • It either a manatee or a seal. Withe manatees "nesting" for heat off the nuclear plants it's probably a manatee with birth defects. I realize that sounds smartass like but I swear its not. You would not believe the weird deformed animals you can catch in Florida...

  • We have never seen countless billions of species. We estimate we've named 1% of the oceans species. There are many, many species we thought were extinct that have been seen living wild recently. The earths crust is shifting now, ask the Inuits, so Arizona is moving towards the equator at perhaps 40 miles per year (not much).

  • I fear for the manitee because of the oil spill in the gulf which I heard was held to the bottom by tons of chemicals, because that is the Manitees only habitat, and because the chemicals seem to be corroding the waterproof coating on birds and other animals in some areas.

  • if this was shot in ca I might be with you but looks too much like a croc and fl well come on think

  • looks like a gator

  • conspiracy theorists, adding 2+2 and getting 5 since forever.

  • If true, there would have to be multiple Mosasaurs down there and the odds of them going unseen for 20million years in Florida is insanely unlikely. You should call a marine biologist in Florida to take a look at it. In my opinion, it looks like an alligator. However, if you feel this strongly about a dinosaur being alive after all these years, you should actually go there and research it further. Spotty footage from a [probably drunk] fisherman doesn't inspire my confidence.

  • @W4V3MAKER

Dont assume that all eyewitnesses report their sightings. Dont assume that when eyewitnesses do contact the 'authorities' that they are taken seriously.

  • The first pictures are obviously of a manatee and the picture that was not shown on MonsterQuest is something in the crocodile family. it's obvious by the large bump at the tip of its nose and the protrusions on its wide back. Crocodiles and alligators only live symbiotically in two places in the world: Australia and Florida. I believe the photographer is trying to make some money by offering the other pictures for a fee.

  • It is obviously a saltwater crocodile or a cayman. note the Bulge at the tip of its nose

  • I wonder if it could be a Steller Sea Cow. I know they're extinct but stranger things have been found living then their species were supposedly gone.

  • im sure u wont post my last comment but what do you think about it????

  • or it's a video with a manitee and another video with a gator. c'mon.

  • @Maxhorses Yep that 2nd one is a gator.

  • is that music at the beginning from jurassic park

  • @dragonfilm yup! totaly made this video awesome

  • @dragonfilm

    yep

  • the last bit .i beleive is a crocodile..i live in Australia and have seen crocs of many different sizes...they look EXACTLY like this footage..

  • That looks like a fucking alligator WTF ARE THEY THINKING WITH?

  • go ahead and delete too while your at it dumdass showing re-runs u SUCK!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @megaflyinbrian,

    You keep saying 're-run'

So your comment itself is like a re-run

  • @sonofthedestroyer yea i'll say it again this sh..t has been on cable t.v 25 times before you thought you found some epic video com'on dude.

  • @megaflyinbrian,

I seriously doubt Gene Sowerwine clips i show, appeared even once on TV. Nevermind 25 times

  • @sonofthedestroyer you dont have charter cable sevice and live in the deep dark mountains of n.c do you?? ever hear of monsterquest on the history channel???

  • @megaflyinbrian,

To my knowledge, the second animal i show was NOT shown on the monsterquest documentary.

  • @megaflyinbrian,

I have almost the entire MQ collection in my hard drive

  • @sonofthedestroyer then you must know what i was talking about? i wasnt debunking the video i was simply saying that it had been on t.v many times here on monsterquest before thats all. i do belive in strange things living in the sea. in fact ive spent two weeks at a time in the gulf many times. longline fishing for tuna, sword fish.shark. etc..and have seen things i cant tell other people in fear of being mocked.or made fun of.so i belive trust me.

  • yep, look like it could be an alligator. they have those in florida.

  • this is very convinsing and i am sure so dinosours still exist. i would reserch this further

  • I cant see how a Mosasaur could still be alive today with out anyone noticing im sorry but even the small species of Mosasaurs grew well over 10 feet, and they breathe air we would have seen one by now.

  • Complete fail! Good try though.

  • people are finding "new" species all the time. I'm sure there are still plenty of creatures we have yet to discover. Why is that so hard to believe?

  • i want known that's really video or not..........

  • i just wasted 6 minutes and 46 seconds of my time, ITS REALLY THAT EASY......fag.

  • the clip from the website it kinda looks like an alligator head

  • it's a seal or sea lion.

  • 3:30 maybe its an alligator because they are around certain places in florida and it seems to look like one to?

  • Weren't Mosasaurs massive?

  • First one looked like a type of Seal. The second one looked like an alligator(eyes close to the top of the head). Mosasaurus eyes are more on the side of the head. But the skin looked smooth so....

  • I think that satellite moitoring should be weighing in on a lot of these cryptozoology questions.

  • Alligator. Living here on the Gulf Coast, that is a common scene out on the water.

  • Monsterquest is all fart and no poop IMO

  • @crinoid1919 i could'nt have said it better my self! now this dude is showing us re-runs. my god!!

  • hey idiot its an alligator, now please block me, you turds all see what you want to see not actually what your seeing.

  • its too long to be a crocodile and too little to be a mosasaurus

  • @donoricko id say the skull is around the size of a smaller species of mosasaur i just cant remember the name, its Definitly not a Tylosaur

  • @donoricko i agree i study prehistoric animals all the time the eyes on a mosasaur are not raised like the animal in the footage and the animal is way to small to be in a lake of that size i've been to the lake myself and seen these strange animals they appear seal like but the head is more like a dog the second animal that is shown here showed itself only for a second and it was not large enough to be a mosasaur or any prehistoric reptiles that ever lived

  • @supergodzilla3 All living have evolved & adapted. Birds are relatives of dinosaurs as well as turtles and large fish like Sharks just an example

  • the footage appears to be a dinosaur head that is obvious!!

  • freaking awesome!

  • im pretty sure that secound thing is an alligator

  • I couldn't agree more with your explanation. MY only conflict is the size, this animal seems too small to be the Dinorsaur you speak of. Perhaps it's a child? I am not quite sure, but one thing is for sure - the moment we feel that we have conquered this Planet and discovered ALL that there is to be discovered is the day we destroy every child's imagination and our own. We will NEVER know everything so your request is taking very matter of factly. Well done, I would love if you could PM me!

  • What if human's didnt discover fire. What if they didnt dicover technology or oil. This world would change in to a better world

  • To me another possible candidate is the early whale, Ambulocetus.

Search the images, you'll see the similarities!

  • probably last of it species

  • One scientist says one thing, the other another ....this is a job for Judge Judy.

  • That's not a croc or alligator. Neither dips their head down with their back still above water as the video shows.

  • Until the day that we humans possess the technology to scan every single square inch of the planet and see everything that is inside it, all possibilities are valid. We haven't been to the bottom of every deep-sea trench, etc. Who's to say the predicament in the Megalodon book series can't happen? Call me crazy, but I believe.

  • that other animal looked a lot more like an alligator than a mosasaurus....the shape of the snout was more typical of a crocodilian than your creature. it wasnt straight like the skull or the renditions, but bumpy and irregular.

  • I must admit... VERY convincing... But, wasn't Mosasaurus like, twice that size on average?

Then again I suppose it could have been a young one..

  • @punkcommunisto117 Andddd these animals are how old????

  • Croc.

  • that is a crocodile

  • Its a south american or also know as a Amazonian manatee. They have a narrower snout that goes to a point but the give away was that the nostrils on the animal are located on the top of the snout. Looks like a boat got it bad, buts exactly what the look like.

The manatee must have migrated into the north at some time and just been stuck there. explains why we have not seen an baby photos yet.

  • what amazes me is that no one, EVER has filmed a clear, up close, detailed video, or photograph for that matter of that creature, or Sasquatch, or the loch ness monster. Ever.

or all the other heard but seldom seen creatures. That just shows you that cigarettes are bad for you.

  • @shusaved,

Actually they have. Patterson footage. Show people clear footage and they scream hoax. The hardcore skeptics i am on about

  • @sonofthedestroyer very true, subconsciously people would doubt any hard evidence because it's been inbuilt that no such things exist (and this is due to the 'publicity' status of such matters)

  • @sonofthedestroyer fake si fake

it takes more then photos to prove somthin, photoshop ruined the stories thats been told in current times

things like footprints, body, n remains are needed to finish the puzzle

    photoshop killed it

  • @WingedSoulies,

Footprint casts have been proven by people like Dr Jeff Meldrum to be real mystery apes. And the skeptics still dont want to believe and the media still refuses to tell the truth. Bodies are found all the time of various cryptids. Govt and their whore scientists will dismiss the bodies as 'a rotting normal animal' and then confiscate the remains.

  • @sonofthedestroyer Hate to say it dude.. but for those who believe, there is no proof needed, for those who don't believe there is no proof possible. if you caught one of these creatures, and showed it to the skeptics they would dismiss it.

  • @sonofthedestroyer definitely not a hoax...patterson video was made back in the late sixties right? They DID not have the technology for that good of a replication of the muscle/hair movement. It's a very interesting piece of footage and has baffled real scientists for generations now.

  • I will inform you that I am a skeptic, however I am also open minded. I VALUE and respect what you are trying to do. but @ 3:52 What makes you believe that this couldn't be a crocodile? The finned appendages of a Mosasaurus would be the most distinguishable characteristics, not the nose, eyes and snout.

  • @TheAloha1991 Alligator crocodiles dont live wildly in florida

  • @TheAloha1991 When I saw that footage, I also highly suspected a crocodile, I mean this was filmed in Florida, and the snout and head shape, and it almost looks like small ridges on its back, indicate a croc. You are quite perceptive.

  • @TheAloha1991 .....we dont have crocs in fl

  • @Lysander518

actually there are crocs in florida. Monsterquest even made an episode on it

  • @sonofthedestroyer hey i found this video of sasquatch and i cant decide if it real or not! Its driving me crazy just because here take a look and PLEASE let me know what you think youtube.com/watch?v=KSfR2Z3UBfE

  • @batmanmob

    link not working

  • @sonofthedestroyer true, they dont want anyone to know about it though so that they dont panic, cuz think,if those monsters are real, thats means bigger beast could live out there, and if we tampered with them and one hit civillization,it would be cataclysmac for the people who see it and in that area

  • @shusaved Your comment made me laugh out loud at the end. But I agree with you too. Out of all the messed up REAL creatures out there that we can always get video of.. we've never EVER seen the Loch Ness or anything else you mention. And on this show "Monster Hunters" they pretty much narrowed it down to a sea cow. They do diagrams of existing animals and it matches just fine. Look up SEA MONSTERS MONSTER QUEST. It's on Netflix too.

  • @shusaved Now we can say the same about religion can't we?!

  • @shusaved well, keep in mind if they DID have a clear picture/video/ect. it wouldn't exactly be a mystery anymore would it... reminds me of the giant squid, alot of ppl thought THAT was a myth O-o

  • @shusaved That wouldn't amaze anyone who knows how difficult it can be to get a good shot of a rare, elusive animal even when you know its habits and what you are looking for. Not saying I see anything noteworthy in these videos here, just pointing out that you are clearly making an uninformed assumption.

  • @shusaved this is how it works, if you have an unclear picture or video, people will debate for months on end, if you have a perfect shot of something it's automatically labeled as photoshopped, it's stupid but that's how it works

  • @shusaved

We have also discovered over 20 species which we thought to be extinct...and we find new species nearly every day. What's so hard to believe that there are not prehistoric are large elusive monsters still living in the oceans or great lakes.

  • It looks like a large seal to me. Lost and trying to survive in brackish water.

  • 1:18 It has hair so it's not related to reptiles. Mosasaurus were reptiles.

  • the last little bit of text about the 60-100 foot alligator or crocodile sounds like a relative of the super croc. I keep forgetting the scientific name, sarcosucus something or other.

  • Its prolly just a crocodile or alligator.

  • I'm sorry, but the clip you showed off the site? The size of the snout, along with the tapered shape and the indication of an eye where it was all point to a alligator. And if all of this was in Florida, then that wouldn't be a very surprising thing to see. But you are right- this man wasn't filming the same animal each time, even if he believed he was. And good catch on getting away from Monsterquest.

  • sea leopared i mean

  • sealion

  • you searched to far a way it is a croq

  • I researched that article, at the same I heard that some oceanographer found nessie's body on loch nesses floor....with that said I have reason to believe that report.

  • this was put together really well.

  • to me it looks like an ambulocetus

  • perhaps a mutated alligator however I have a theory that adds on to the fact we know very little about our ocean. That is that with the hurricanes, strange/exotic animals are entering the US coastline. Even "extinct" like the coelacanth (??)

  • perhaps a mutated alligator

  • bull shit but yet, intresting

  • that was amazing i think that thing is real or at least could be out there an btw that would be a baby mosasaurus!!! that means there are more

  • its just a crocodile

  • I still Wouldn't doubt Dinos still Exist Japan found a Dino Shark, I believe Nessy is still out there. Could be too Also a Deformed Manatee? Cause look at today's birth defects in animals possibilities are endless. I am glade to see more footage on this animal though

  • 1.21....Its a seal. End of.

  • caymen

  • i believe theres alot more water species we have not discover

our technology is limited, until the day the technology is advance enough that allows us to go deeper into the sea

  • good post man:)

  • There's a lot of weird stuff out there. Read Heuvelman's "In The Sea Serpent". By the way, during WWI submarines were not the long range devices of today. It was customary to submerge only when attacking with the torpedoes. After the torpedoes were sent, the boats often returned to the surface sometimes using their deck guns. Giant crocodilians are one of the 5 reported types. Interestingly, reported seamonsters are of only a very few types: classic "Plesiosaur", Crocodile, serpent, giant squid.

  • i think you missed the plates on the animals back, which point to it being a crocodilian whether it is an alligator or crocodile i can say, I'm assuming alligator because it's florida, but the head looks very much like a crocodiles so it could be an invasive species of crocodile or as mrninjas said an american crocodile

  • second one looks like a croc to me. there are alt water croc's in florida, the northern extent of their range.

    mangohuntr1

  • one might not be eatting as much as it should or it might be dieing or something like that i dont think it'z a new type just sickly or is a otter over feeding XD

number two however i cant tell it might be cg'd a lil cause it seem'z to stay still as it move'z under water and i do see some scale'z on it not as much as a gator this might sound a bit funney but could it be a new type of gator? i saw something a lil while ago about some very old type of gator that look't like a dog

  • one might not be eatting as much as it should or it might be dieing or something like that i dont think it'z a new type just sickly or dieing or is a otter over feeding XD

  • I think American mainstream media (i.e., the gov't) downplays ALL scientific findings that corroborate religious beliefs or world history in accordance with sacred scripture. Dinosaur extinction goes hand-in-hand with Darwinism, and Darwinism is opposite religion. Religion is a threat to any government because it forces its followers to acknowledge a consciousness above all this bogus materialism. This is just my opinion. Party on, Garth.

  • by the way i believe in creation and adaptation theries more the so called evolution which at one point i did believe in, that wa sbefore they came out with all of these animals that were supposed to be exstinct, and yet, they are being found living in remote areas?

  • looks like a leopard seal to me......

  • I dont like that pretentious scientist bitch!

  • I seriously doubt that it could be a mosasaur, or any other prehistoric reptile. Even allowing for the drastically different climate and geography between the Cretaceous and the present, which would mitigate against the survival of mosasaurs, a mosasaur in shallow coastal waters would have attacked swimmers or fishermen by now and would have been caught and documented. That would have been world-wide front-page headlines. That hasn't happened.

  • If you take a look above the creature ( crocodile or fish or...) from 3:10 to 3:13 you can see there is a second creature ( crocodile or fish or...) swimming along.

  • Amazing.You did well gathering evidence. :)

  • probally the only way to end teh controversy is some underwater cameras that are monitered and run as little as possible but still enough to not miss a thing.

  • a professor of mine has a theory that the lock ness monster is actually a mesosaur

  • Yes. Clearly any blurry picture where you can`t make out the animal isn't something existing, or even some new species of, in this case, seal, it's a prehistoric, extinct creature. Bit of a leap there, sweetheart. By the way, actually loled when you showed what you thought the creature was.

  • Mosasaurs are cute and cuddly and I'd love to hug one but that footage looks like a saltwater crocodile to me.

  • its not a seal, walrus or dinosaur its most likely since nobody can figure out what it is for certain, the extict sea cow, not manitee a cousin like the austrailan dugong. the sea cow went extict in the 1700s. they were not afraid of boats and ate vegetation on the river bottom like the manitee and the dugong but were twice the size of our modern day manitee (they grew over 25 feet). because they looked alike, tribes couldn't the differnce between the two except for the dugong related tail.

  • could it be some kind of seal..walrus...looks like a manatee...same with the tail

  • I dont know anything about a Mosasaurs, but it kind of looks like it would live deeper in the sea.

  • the story at the end about the British steamer sinking is not reliable people are bad at judging things until a specimen is found it is unclear what it is

  • that could be true maybe the guy filmed a couple of manatee but maybe a prehistoric monster who was frozen but realest

  • I lived in Florida for years and these are all common creates - manatees and gators. Sorry no Bigfoot or Plesiosaurs I wish it wasn't true I love this kind of nonsense too

  • Maybe it could be some type of genetic product of some type of genetic manipulation that is top secret or perhaps an unknown species.

  • You have video of at least two seperate "creatures" and you and this guy are basically dreaming up one "mysterious creature" from two very common ones. You obviously have video of a manatee and later video of on alligator/croc. What makes you or the nut on the boat taking this footage think it's the same animal?

  • I heard that U-Boat/Monster story years ago. But, I thought it happened in WW2? My mistake!

  • Crocodile. He has film of seals, manatees and crocodiles, which is what leads to the confusion.

  • These are two different animals. First film of a manatee. Second film of an ordinary alligator. Mystery solved. It's Miller time

  • hmm...I think first video looks much more like a seal than a manatee....and the second resembles a crocodile, which would of course look similar to the ancient mosasaur.

  • What about a beaver or an otter? Kind of resembles that sort of head.

  • All prehistoric water creatures could survive ice and meteors i believe in prehistoric water monsters!

  • the first one is a manatee, but the second isn't. i don't think it is a gator either. the reason why is because if you look carefully you can see that the neck it to slender for a gator. the head snot is to short for a gator, but it isn't wide enough for a croc either. i don't know what it is and i may be wrong, but no one will know until we capture one.

  • so wut its a sea monster big woop shoot it in face end of story ;l

  • I personally think it may be a type of gator, the second one. The ridges on the back, although small, indicate gator armor. Not to mention that the snout was the wrong shape for a mosasaurus, more like, again, a gator.

Not saying that it's not possible, it's just that the evidence presented does not fit what we know of mosasaurus.

  • And crocodiles are living proof that some species of dinosaurs could have survived the meteor crash that caused mass extinction.

  • wise Chinese man say. gay dinosaur called Dinosaur-ass

seriously though it does look like that fish thing with teeth. but it also looks like a crocodile or alligator.

well i dont care to comment further, im off to go be random on more videos.

  • this is a well put together theory. I hope the mystery is solved at some point.

  • okay i'm not saying i agree with the "near future" thing but i'm also not saying i disagree

  • okay i'm not saying i agree with the "near future" thing but im also not saying i disagree

  • Most likely.

.....the creator of this vid is a retard.

  • I don't understand why there would be a cover-up. Who has something to gain from covering it up?

  • @orrinaleron yep i agree with the coelencanth, nautalis, and maybe some other creatures that did not evolve. oh and tribulites

  • it's a deformed manatee

  • LOL! Stop talking non-sense. That creature was vanished long time ago. If your conclusion is correct then upload the actual footage. The Jurassic Era is finished long time ago.

  • There is one thing to keep an open mind, then there is another thing to completely accept a bullshit statement from the captain of a U boat. In order to fire its torpedoes, mustn't the U boat be under water? And why would the boat surface, except to risk location from the allies?

  • @vineethonkan,

Bullshit statement eh? Why? Because it goes against what you want to believe?

  • This evidence is swag.. thumbs up if you agree

  • First one looks like a manatee/hippo hybrid. And the second looks like a huge gator. How did they get manatee and seal out of an animal with a clearly crocadilian head? .-.

  • All you ding dongs look up Stellar Sea Cow,,,,,,,,sheesh

  • The second critter is just a gator, but the first looks like a leopard seal for the life of me. Definitely not the flat snout of a manatee. I'd say some seal species, whether unidentified or just an unknown habitat for an existing one, I couldn't tell you.

  • In deep ocean trenches there are creatures thought to be extinct and creatures never seen before. Each year new discoveries are made. This creature here in Florida is very real. It probibly travels in the Aquafers and has done so for centuries. Your video is also a lot like mine. I enjoyed it and support your research. If I find out more you will be one of the first to know. Thank You, Johnny

  • @orrinaleron good thing you were there and measured the depth of the water.also it amazing you know just how deep the water a mosasaur prefers.good mosasaur profiling.

can i live inside your head?

  • look at the snout!!! it shows similiar characteristics to that of a saltwater crocodile than that of a mosasaur. but im into this kinda shit so i like to keep an open mind.

  • how could it be a mosasaur!!?? if you look at the second animal and the mosasaur pictures, you'll see that in the pictures the base of the snout starts from above the eyes and down to the nose, while in the video it clearly shows the base of the snout is lower than the eyes. im sorry but it shows similiar characteristics to that of a saltwater crocodile than a mosasaur. however, im into this kinda shit so i like to keep an open mind.
