Nicely done, but some of your rhythms are maybe a beat or two off. Also, your taps kind of sound a little anemic. Practicing more will help you a lot and help you get even better. Great job!
Thanks, and also thanks for the constructive criticism. You are absolutely right and these days I can play the song with more rhythm and better percussion
How's that Furch working out for ya? I've been looking at to buy a stonebridge durango... but I'm hesitant to shell out 600-800 dollars for a guitar I've never played. How's the action and playability?
Well, since I bought this guitar I'm a big Furch/Stonebridge fan, I never regretted buying a Furch, although I must say that I probably would've went for a slightly different (more expensive) model. The sound of this one is really good, but some of the models that are only a little bit more expensive are a lot better on playability. Also, the Durango hardly has any 'coating' (what's the word) over the wood, which means you have a bigger chance at damaging the guitar. Also I miss a cutaway.
take it to a local music shop and have them finish it, etc. Most of what you're paying for on a more expensive model anyway is the labor hours spent going into it. The sustain on yours is gorgeous though, congrats.
Thanks, I think I used some unofficial tabs in the beginning, but most of it I figured out myself. I'm not sure where I got those tabs, but Google usually works for me ;)
I can recommend the CandyRat tabs though, I own a number of them. (btw, also check out my new vid, Dual Drifting :))
Thanks :) it's really not that hard, I've been playing acoustic guitar for just three years, you just gotta want it enough to practise daily. If you do, you can play like this within a year, I guarantee :)
thanks for those kind words :) Andy is one of my favorites as well, I love how much feeling he can put into his songs!
I have to laugh at the cat on a daily basis, he is so funny :) although he did scratch my guitar the other day because he tries to play it or something ^^
Yeah that was pretty good timing :) Unfortunately, he still ruined my concentration. Tnx for the kind words, means a lot coming from someone who can play Emmanuel like you do :)
Hahah kitty! :) Great cover.

Great playing! Do you have a link for the tabs? Or did you buy them from his site?
