  • theres much water inside t bus.... thats why crane fall

  • I think we need a bigger crane harry

  • Incredible no one was hurt or killed in that.

    safetyBUILT-IN Channel

  • it's all in the numbers and angles, lengths and width. I'm not even an engineer and I know not to do that. Gimme a fuckin crane...I'll show ya.

  • should be able to buff that right out...

  • Been checking out crain accidents, to see what can go wrong. Just come back from my first day of tower crain course, starting to have secound thoughts . Reasons?

  • stryke!!!

  • objects submerged are lighter than objects in the air.Even if you let the water drain, as you pull it out, it gets heavier.

  • @Olengher yes correct ...

  • lol, the guy at 1:07 who jumps in the water meters away from the accident and pushes the other one in the direction of the falling crane

  • R.I.P. for the death guys!

  • @TheCrasyTopTenShow No one died..

  • HOW THE FXXK DID THE BUS GET THERE? THATS WHAT I WANA KNOW

  • Wow!!

  • Wow....In doing vehicle recoveries with Miami PD we learned that the vehicle is at its heaviest right as it comes out of the water. At that point you lose all buoyancy and the vehicle still has quite a bit of water in it.

  • No excuse for his.....just total inexperience.....and he bottled it by jumping out.......if that crane was capable of lifting 14 tonnes on that jib length it was easily in radius.....but you need to go slow and let the water drain.....wonder if the safe load indicator worked or if indeed he had one......TOTAL DRIVER ERROR.......and.....what about the other crane .....why didnt they just dual lift it.

  • always do a test lift first.

check your lifting capacity's at different extensoins

if load is to heavy put it down.

  • Probably best if it was the bus alone in the water :)

  • Gotta glance at the bubble once in a while.

  • @aqueousone The bubble is to level your crane thats all.once you start working the crane bends and flexes, that is the last thing you should be looking @ when you have your rig in cowboy mode

  • A decent operator would never have lifted it, but even if he/she'd tried, would have let the load back down as soon as the crane started to struggle and tilt, thereby letting the crane sit safely until another plan could be formed to lift the bus safely. To just jump out and let the crane go is ridiculous when it would be just a quick operation to relieve the pressue on the crane.

  • He'll also never forget getting reamed by his boss.

  • Notice how the narrator says, "its impossible to imagine how the crane operator could survive the 30 foot plunge." Well the crane operator didn't have to survive the 30 foot plunge! Before the accident, "the operator jumped out, and ran for safety." LOL

  • To pull a big ass bus out the water, it's not just like a toy bus. First what ever who was hooking those rope, they should first dive in, and bust all windows out, and if possible, to open the doors. Second, To lift heavy load, crane allways should stay, with front, to the load, NOT EVEN BACK. ONLY FRONT! This is nice video to proove, than some complette idiots was on boat, and on crane. I can bet, that crane operator, he bought hes crane license for pork fat, and vodka. if he has one

  • @princessfbi Remember, he was going to have to set the bus down on the bridge, which may be too narrow to set up across it. He had to think about a 90° swing at some point in the lift. Tough lifting the bus from the end though. It would have been better to rig it level but I'm sure they thought that would take longer and be more expensive. Of course that's only if nothing had gone wrong. :)

  • ooo i want to chase them people for some lottery numbers, they were lucky

  • hhahahhahaha owned totaly owned didnt even have a chace

  • snap

  • Crane got owned

  • better check the lift plan guess the dont have health and safety in that their country.

  • well obv the guy who sent the crane there was an idiot because you need a bigger crane then that.. or he didn't have the outriggers out

  • Had the boom extended waaayy too far, as well, & lifting from a bad angle.

  • you can see atleast 3 were but crane looks to small to me.

  • nobody died? did you see the people in teh bus? did you think they were all just holding their breath?

  • ahhh im gonna jerk off to this :D ahhh ahhhh

  • Well at least nobody died from the accident.

  • must of bin packys doing it

  • Holy shit.What an accident!

  • OMG

  • hahahahahahahahahahahah

  • WTF YOU DICK!

  • dry your eyes ya wee arsehole

  • LMAO!

  • If nobody injured why it isnt funny?

  • shouldnt have even atempted that lift that bus would have ha water in it which wouldnt help

  • 28,000 lbs. 30 foot radius...that crane should have never attempted that lift. Picking over the side if the crane is not as stable as picking over the rear. Interesting that an RT crane is right behind the little truck crane, guess the truck crane operator got there first and thought he could make a fast buck. Too bad he didn't check his lift chart first.

  • Also the suction from the massive volume of water would not have helped. Makes you wonder where people get their tickets.

  • I think what happened is that the buoyant force decreased as the bus was lifted, thus the weight of the bus increased the higher it got out of the water.

  • probably from a fruit loops box

  • your uncle is a stupid ass hole !

  • My uncle was operating this and he survived!

  • yeah. not something to brag about

  • Cool

  • It's Craneman to the rescue!!!

  • the crane operator was not in the crane when it started to tip, they operate using wireless hand controls from a box so they can see what they are doing. ooooops!

  • damn! the boat was lucky :P

  • dang sucks for them.

  • ебать колотить!

  • Wow lol crazy

  • this is from shockwave

  • That crane operator is a dumb ass, he has the boom way too far out and didn't take into account the bus would be full of water. It's called leverage.

  • I agree he's a dumbass, it doesn't matter what he took into account - as soon as he started lifting he knew he was overweight and continued to lift. The "Bus" didn't pull down the crane with it, the crane pulled itself down attached to the bus.

  • Amateurs.

  • obviously the crane driver didnt take into account that the bus would be filled with water adding almost half the weight on top of the buses actual weight. Oh davidx what the fuck is drounded??? you mean drowned, you weren't the crane operator were you???

  • No, its from a series called something like "most amazing videos"

  • you dumbfuck its real

  • no, this is all real man

  • crane is a wrong position and not strong hold enough

  • youtube keeps saying my pics are too adult style

  • lol dude dove right into the concrete

it didnt even come close to him

  • dude that guy is lucky he jumped outa that crane he could of easyly goten stuck in side and drounded

  • ya think??

  • "One man dives for his life!" hahahaa! Jackass!

  • Santa Fe, ARgentina.

  • lol i like the way the guy on the boat jumps off, pushing the boat closer to where the crane is about to land

  • use LIEBHERR cranes you suckerS!!!!

  • An empty crane falling in the water is a BIGGER disaster than a bus full of people falling in?

  • lol, i think he needs a bigger crane

  • No, he needs a bigger brain.

  • Oops. Think you needed a bigger crane, guys. That was a bus you were trying to life, not a Smart Car (or Fart Car, as I call them).

  • What show is that from

  • World's Most Amazing Videos.

  • lo que paso ese dia es que la grua estaba apoyada sobre la vereda del puente, ella esta hecha para soportar peatones, no una grua

  • I suspect the 30 ton hydraulic was cheaper to rent than a 45 ton conventional, which should have been used for this pick. First the basics, Rule one: how much does the load weigh, including the water factor? Rule 2: How far away is the center-pin from the furthest point at which the load will either be picked or set? Rule 3: How high must the load be lifted? Rule 4: reference the crane's load chart with these figures before you drive the rig to the job.

  • ur such a bender

  • either the limit bell didn't go off, or (like a true cock) he just ignored it, or (like a real 3rd world worker) unplugged it, cos they make an unpleasant noise....

10 out of 10, you mad bastard!!!

  • Been there done that

  • maybe hes dash.......maybe he saw the future and ran like hell.....maybe he cloned himself really quickly so the clone got out and he died......lol

  • idiot

  • Shit

  • Like a noble captain of a ship, that gay-ass crane operator should have stayed in his crane, and died with honor!

    ...that sissyass bitch-boy.

  • ahahah!

  • If the f***ing crane operator had time to jump out and run away from the crane (he ran for quite a while) why didn't he just lower the bus alittle bit back into the water to relieve some of the weight! You can tell it wasn't in the US, OSHA would be all over their a** =P

  • ya u CAN tell it wasn't in the us because the operator would have been dumb enough to stay in the crane :) ....dumb yankees

  • pwnd.

  • holy crap!

  • well that just sucks.

  • accident in an accident

  • the operator was pretty smart to make an early escape.

  • do news readers go to an adjectival over-use school someplace?

  • Lifting off a bridge is probably a factor in why they did not get a bigger crane. Bridge engineers don't like too much weight per truck axle, let alone the total weight of a crane and bus on 2 outrigger feet.

  • Engineers also plan for traffic jams to include a bridge full of Buses. During construction that bridge probably had a 50 to 60 ton rig pouring the concrete. The bused in the drink was a light weigh transit Bused, single axel, which could have been picked with a 45 ton conventional rig with 100 foot of stick.

  • stop callin' people benders cause they know more about cranes than you

  • ba mince y zi été preske lol

  • oh f...k need another crane!!!!

  • oh f...k need a bigger crane!!!!

  • pwned

  • Call me niave but isn't there a quick release to allow a load to be quickly and smoothly lowered. I've operated a davits that had a lever that allowed the winch to free wheel. sunking?

  • Yes there is, but the operator likely paniced as a result of lack of proper training.

  • Nice job..."Coon Asses!! Ever hear of CCO?

  • How amazing that no one died! thats the good thing!

  • Hmm...Was it just me or did it look like there was somebody in that bus?

  • ye dats wat it looks like on 0:07

  • ye dats wat it looks like on 0:07

  • hahahahahahaha owned

  • how do the people not die in these videos? truly shocking you know

  • how stupid can you get?

  • Looks like we're gonna need a bigger crane!

  • i DRIVE cranes 2

  • if you look closely the crane's cab seperated from the body before it hits the water

  • One word comes to mind...."MORON"!

  • Welcome to a third world country

  • i drive cranes for a living and nobody is to blame but the operator. cranes are fitted with ;imits which will cut the power to the hoist up and boom back option. when the warning buzzers sound the crane stops even though you have the hoist lever engaged to lift the operator must have overriden the limit so he is the dumbass. i now drive towercranes as they are safer.

  • You drive a car. You operate a crane or any other piece of equipment. That's why they are called crane operators not crane drivers.

  • Ummm...at like 32 or 33 did anyone happen to notice the body that spilled out and was floating in the river underneath the door of the bus? Looks like the head of someone to me.

  • Accident Made In Argentina :(

  • that is some gnarly shit

  • LAUGHING MY FUCKING ASS OFF!!!!!!!!

  • dahm, that was bad

  • Risk assessment!

  • maybe they missed VERY important detail - the bus was filled with water...

  • haha the guy that pushes the little boat toward the accident by diving in...

  • :44, look how long that boom is!+the truck is parked sideways?! no wonder it went over?!?!

  • exactly. simple physics. shoulda been angled at the out rigger and front conterweights installed on the truck, or gotten one big enough to do it right the 1st time. buncha dumb asses!

  • OMG!! THIS I SO STUPID! .. Pore people

  • fucking yanky retards

  • Wrong tool for the job.

  • haha, that pussy dove into the water.

  • that happened in argentina..oh,excuse me, those mother fuckers according to them make no mistake...i love you guys!

  • fake :)

  • so exactly how far up your ass is your head?

  • LMFAO

  • Thats what happens when u hire non union

  • why didn't he kick the brakes off and drop the load????

  • shoulda checked the load chart...

  • nice

  • "one man dives for his life"

LOL, yeah it's hilarious when u see how far from the disaster he was from the camera's view but it must've looked dangerously close to him.

    LMAO!

  • stupid things like that happen every day unfortunately but you can be sure that the operator hasn't stopped preferring his life to his job.

  • eso paso aca en argentina, en la provincia de santa fe. el dueño de la grua se enojo re mal.

    is in argentina, santa fe.

  • is in Argentina

  • He got outside of his radius. Probably wasn't even A load chart on the crane (guy probably couldn't add any how) and Unless there is A scale on the hook (which I seriously doubt old crane)Operator has no Idea how much he's picking. Crane load charts are usually rated two ways TIPPING and\or BOOM FAILEURE. This happens all the time outside of the States. If that's REALLY the operator he was out of the seat BEFORE it started tipping. Out of the seat with something on the hook BIG NO NO!!!!!

  • If some of you listen carefully the "OPERATOR", thats right I said the "OPERATOR" managed to escape before the crane fell into the water and "NOBODY", thats right I said "NOBODY" was injured!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I FUCKING HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!LOL

  • Where's OSHA? lol.. goons.

  • Eso paso en un puente entre santa fe y parana. La verdad fue increible. Mira lo que uno encuentra en la web :)

  • You've gotta love yellow journalists. "There's no way the crane operator could survive the fifty feet plunge"

OK, it's dangerous for all the people around, and there's certain risk, but c'mon, it's not like it was falling 7000 feet. :b

  • two things, suction factor (open windows will not ever. And what is the main surporting outrigger doing over the weekest part of the bridge(out past the main surporting beam)

  • thats a box

  • ups

  • oh my fucking good !!!

  • OOOHH.. I hope that person inside the crane is alright. O.o
